are you always opting to go second in this deck even without playing the board breakers DRNM/Evenly mained?
@jr.chckn23 ай бұрын
No you go first with the deck. The breakers in the main are good going first or second.
@FallenMoonkin3 ай бұрын
@@jr.chckn2 Thats what I thought... but every video of the decklist everyone talks like they are wanting or opting to go second that are maining the DRNM and evenly but I see you sided evenly and went for a more "normal"ish build. Also I wondering the hot take on what to banish for 3 and 6 off prosperity would be helpful if you got a dud of hand.
@jr.chckn23 ай бұрын
@@FallenMoonkin The thing with breakers is that they are just so good going second that seeing 1 or 2 will usually break a board in comparison to 1 or 2 handtraps. The benefit of playing breakers in this deck in particular is protos skipping your opponents turn whenever you go first. So you don't really need to be backed up with handtraps if the protos resolves in the right matchups.

Isnt talents weak when you see it with prosp?
@jr.chckn23 ай бұрын
I only used it to hand rip or steal. You don't usually need to draw with it.

How are you playing through nib without link spider or did you go in just not respecting it
@jr.chckn23 ай бұрын
If you can get to elder plus either hawk or pengu, you don't care about nibiru. If I didn't open up that, I would honestly just not respect it and put them on better have it or you will lose to protos/my end board.

Wow! No Ash anywhere?
@jr.chckn23 ай бұрын
I felt like it was too low impact. Last change was swapping ash for talents which I really liked during the tournament. Ash would be better if I played more non engine, specifically more handtraps.

Is it still good without Protos but ending on Colossus instead? Because I won't lie, the card is too expansive for me at the moment... And I think (hope) it'll be reedited soon (tin box maybe?). And hiw much time dod you need to master this deck? It looks very hard to play...
@SlizzyIsSlice3 ай бұрын
This is often referred to as the first “spread sheet” deck. While learning the Cannahawk combo is good the SpecSummon restriction is very hard to play around and almost makes building your board like a puzzle depending on hand and interaction from opp. This is a deck that I think would take literal years to master
@jr.chckn23 ай бұрын
Hello there, the deck is still functional without protos. You just lose the auto win button. The pure end board with double steeds or if you play colossus is still quite strong. I won several games without resolving protos. Definitely need to take time to learn the deck. I started testing it in Janurary and still could improve. Just learning the basic combos and seeing how the lines work together is a good place to start. I'd recommend Edygo, Swiski, and chu on KZbin.

@@SlizzyIsSlice Thank you for sharing your point of view! I just want to have an idea of how many time it would take to play the deck and be able to win complicate games with it.
@Acelyn-3 ай бұрын
@@jr.chckn2 Thank you very much for your developed answer, I'll check videos of the youtubers you mentioned to introduce myself to this deck. And for Protos, I understand it's Rome, although I've the feeling he's not a winning condition of the deck, just an unfair card that can be used and abused in Ritual Beasts, to let no option to your opponent and, indeed, "auto-win" the game thanks to it.
@jr.chckn23 ай бұрын
@@Acelyn- For sure! The deck is a lot of fun to pilot once you get the basics down!
