My favorites are primarily the use of mod podge. I haven't tried working with it yet. But, specifically when you made the flowers in the silicone molds with the hot glue gun. That was fantastic. Tx again.

Wow, Robin, you had a very productive thrifting experience. Love the coffee table and many other things. That family portrait looks like it was taken at or around the time of a funeral. I have one very similar, but mine is actually of my maternal grandmother’s family. I have her wedding picture in its original frame and a few other treasures. I love them. Years ago, when the antiquing craze was all the thing, I antiqued the frame - darn. It’s not horrible but I’m going to repaint to its original colors which were black and gold. Great haul.

Great video. Loved all the projects. Much to my surprise, I have an identical white egg plate that you used. Mine was thrifted from long ago. Somebody had ruined the gold edging but I had my gold RubNBuff handy. Now my egg plate looks brand new. And the transformation took little time. I will be using it regularly now. Lisa, the hydro dipping is my favorite out of these, but I do love all of your DIY’s. I really want to do the hydro dipping. Can nail polish be used in place of paint for hydro dipping? The smaller mirror resembles the bigger mirror. It has the “wraps” down the sides and the “leafy poof” at the top. Question? The octagon wooden tray: Did you paint the bottom of the tray? If not, give a reason why it is not necessary to paint the bottom of anything if the condition of the object is in good condition? Additional Editions: The cherry blossom tray and small box is absolutely gorgeous. The gold trim milk glass devil egg dish transformation was incredible. Santa turned out to be handsome after he was given a nice clean bath.

I’m so happy you liked the DIYS! Yes, you can definitely use nail polish. Great observation on the mirrors! I purchased them at the same thrift store, I’m guessing they were brought in at the same time. I did not paint the bottom of the tray. There was felt on the bottom, so I didn’t want to paint that. Unless you’re going to be turning your tray upside down I don’t see a need to paint the bottom.

I don’t think nail polish would age as well as paint. I think I saw another DIY person talk about this but on a bit of a different type project. Just something to consider. 😊💜
