Duh why even use anything man just sit outside your neighbors house and "use" their wifi and a special antenna that you can insert in your ears like a smart speaker wire. Then just be patient and wait till your neighbor changes the channel and hope that what they are listening to you like as well.. Its free!!

These are quite expensive for what they are. Can you answer, what advantages are there over one of these internet radios when you can buy a decent bluetooth speaker when equivalent sound quality and simply link it to a mobile phone streaming radio from around the world. Mobile acting as a remote control for flipping through different stations.??

with a wifi radio your are not worrying about mobile batteries, your are not "mobile dependent", you can quickly change station. I have a wifi radio on my nightstand .. with a mobile I would have to waste 15/ 20 secs each time I want to change a radio station ;-(

Mine lasts 2 days between charges with normal use...and it can be plugged into the charger and used simultaneously..??..do u not have to plug these radios into the mains to make them work.?? Sorry mate. I know some manufacturers are using KZbin to advertise their products. There is probably a market for these radios but they really are a waste of money if you already have a DECENT mobile phone, and may be a bluetooth speaker or bluetooth adaptor for an existing hi-fi ... Download apps like Simple Radio, Tunein Radio, or websites like internetradio.com You just dont need ANOTHER device

@@btnled357 It's all about choices, mate. Internet digital radios with full range dedicated stereo speakers and info screens are immensely convenient and frankly pretty cool. You don't have to buy, but don't criticize and judge saying the dude "wasted his money" and "you don't need ANOTHER device. That's rude mate.

A phone can do just about anything, yes... but when you can do many things, you tend to do them all badly, same is true of devices. Real radio fanatics like the look and feel of an old school radio (at least I do, and the CCrane one is the only item above that fits the bill for me); a dedicated, purpose built device will serve that one purpose better than a phone or a computer.
