HEY PwrDown, i got a TIP for ya: kappa and rre36 shaders are mod friendly, esp to mods with transparent features, like Neat and SAOui (like healthbars above mobs and bosses)

An important thing I would like to tell everyone is to choose Biome mods with caution as they are usually incompatible with other mods adding new structures or mobs. Usually there's a config to change spawning biomes (that's what modpack makers do) but that's quite a lot of work. Instead you can choose mods that enhance vanilla biomes rather than those adding new biomes.

Huh... Yeah, I haven't done that at all xD I've been using Terraforged and Biomes O'Plenty and adding a TON of structure generating mods. So far so good, with the exception of a single time to structures generated ontop of each other (that one looked kinda funny; it also had a bunch of other structures nearby, making what looked like a peculiar city)

I really love you approach to things like this video. Even telling you long-time viewers that this video doesn't have a lot of new mods to not "waste" their time is one of many small things which are just a bit different (and better) than other channels. Keep it up!

I had an idea for a Vanilla mod: messenger pigeons. With this datapack you can tame pigeons with bread and breed them but only once you've made a pigeon house. These mobs carry scrolls and items long distances; you set their target destination with a something and they will fly to that destination and always return like a homeing pigeon. I think it would a slight new dynamique to the game. It would might not be all that useful but I'm sure anyone else in these comments could help me build on this skeleton of an idea. It would be best in multiplayer worlds etc. They might spend their days snoozing in their hut, following you around with cute cooing noises or riding on the backs of other mobs.

One mod I would like to add to this list is the enderite mod It feels very much vanilla and though is a little over powered as it won't die from the void, it is very resource expensive, thus making it a little balanced

I'd also recommend if you are using Mrcrayfish Furniture and Biomes O plenty there's an addon MrCrayfish made for furniture using other modded blocks, while there is also addons for quark trees to be compatible with dynamic trees and such. Great vid. :)

Doesn't Extra Boats technically need AbnormalsCore?? You could use Atmospheric and Autumnity, but they're redundant if you use BOP and any mod enhancing food. Upgrade Aquatic is pretty good for more ocean related goodness, but again meh. It's Savage and Ravage that I enjoy quite often, as it makes raids a lot more interesting and has creeper-plated armor! Buzzier Bees is also good, but it should also go along Productive Bees for anyone wanting to utilize bees like machines.

Couple fabric mods that I like: Gate Of Babylon adds a lot of new weapons to the game, each one being special in its own way. Unearthed that adds lots of new stones to the underground, along with ore variants of the stones. Harvest Scythes adds Scythes to the game, which allows you to right click a crop to harvest it without having to break and place again, and higher tiers have a larger range to harvest multiple crops (also has material compatibility with mods like Astromine). Mystical Agriculture: Refabricated is a fabric port of Mystical Agriculture, which adds ore crops to the game and several new materials for armor and more. Mythic Metals adds a lot of new metals that all have armor and tools, some of them having ores, some of them are only craftable with an Alloy Forgery. OPChanter adds a new enchanting table that, as the name implies, is very overpowered and hard to craft, allowing you to put enchants on gear of pretty much any level. Lastly, Croptosis adds new ways to fertilize your farmland with rotten flesh piles and a few new ores.

For me, the best “Vanilla+” is 1) Dynamic Surroundings 2) Better Third Person 3) Yungs Better Strongholds 4) Immersive Portals (if it was 8n Forge - please come to Forge!) I’m borderline with Repurpoused Structures because it doesn’t allow me to toggle structures on or off, and some may be too “non Minecraft”. I do enjoy it though so if you wanna extend a little beyond Vanilla without adding “new” structures than this is it. Lastly, if there was a good Mod that allowed me to add the Mobs from Minecraft Earth and not a lot of the gimmicky stuff I would add them in too just for variety of classic mobs like cows and sheep. Honestly these mobs should already be in Vanilla but I’m just waiting for the day a really good Minecraft Earth Mob mod pack is out. And that’s it! That’s my Vanilla+ world. It may sound like a lot of changes but really nothings changed except the Strongholds actually feel like the dungeon before the end of a game instead of an empty room (and it doesn’t effect world generation which is key in Vanilla)
