Coz eventhough the goldfishes can't chew up my big anubiases but they can pull off those plant from their bed rock. And i've try duckweed too. With 550/588 L fishtank contained 9 adult goldfishes (13-26cm) after 3 straight days the duckweed didn't stand any chance of survival 🤦🤦🤦

I have been able to keep java fern, anubias and hornwort. Nice tip on the bacopa yellow flame! I have to try that. My goldfish has yet to eat my potted S. REPENS, hopefully, this stays this way!

I had good luck with jungle val and crypts as well. I would also take the over growing monte Carlo from other tanks and feed it to them

Another plant u can keep are pythos they go on top of ur tank and remove so much nitrate. The roots are also too big for the goldfish to eat and I haven’t had any problems with them

Great selection of plants I have hair grass it’s very tall and grows wild through the sand and Anubis my Orandas don’t touch them at all i’m going to try a couple plants you just mentioned thank you

I have 5 Ranchus in the past and the Amazon swords got devastated even if they we're fully fed. I got away with floating plants except duckweeds since they are their favorite. Also my 4 fantails loves to torn my water sprite and guppy grass so I just put some water lettuce instead 😅

I think that floating plant you had in the clip was not duckweed but a small floating fern? I can't think of it's name right now though.

I have Anubias and Java fern in my goldfish tank and they don’t even try to eat it. I glued them to some rocks and they aren’t going anywhere.

Tried to get duck weed started in my goldfish tank because it ate or destroyed all my other plants. It ate it all in 24 hours. Never came back.😂 people wishing they could get rid of duckweed just need to borrow my 12” goldfish. Yes there are plants goldfish don’t eat.. but mine would forget it tasted like crap and get another bite 3 minutes later. The plants looked so bad I gave up and pulled them all.

Only plants I've had success with goldfish are anubias and java fern.

Doesn't matter as long as the plants are Coldwater and if pebbles or rocks are around so that they cannot dig them up.I had plants with goldfish for over 30 years

Ok, so, maybe not Java fern, especially if you have common goldfish (because they are stronger then fancy’s) they will 100% eat through the leaves, but with my experience it will not kill the plant! It will just look a bit ugly until it grows more leaves, but Java fern is the BEST beginner plant along with anubias nana, they are almost impossible to kill! 😁
