Honestly I felt scammed when I decided to shoot for Aventus after going through a whole bottle of CDNI EDT. I ordered a few fragrances recently and CDNI is among them, clone or not it's amazing value for money!

Hunter Intense. I'm not a huge fan of Sauvage or Invictus, but this blend of the two works well. I have tons of designer and a few niche, but I still reach for this on hot days and casual meetups.

@Minchu K I notice a difference in the opening. What some people describe as a harsh opening with the EDT, I don’t get that with the EDP. Although, the EDT opening isn’t that bad to me. The EDP is smoother and I don’t get as much of the lemon note in the opening. I recommend going with EDP.

@Minchu K I haven’t tried the pure parfum. It would be more concentrated than the EDP though. It may last longer on your skin, but it may not project as much. The regular EDP is my favorite out of all the versions I’ve owned. I own the regular EDP, EDP special edition, and different batches of the EDT since 2017. I still have my bottle of the EDT with the silver atomizer. Those vintage batches were beast mode and lasted all day on skin. The only thing people complained about was the opening.

Armaf Odyssey Homme is one that’s actually really good and doesn’t get any attention. The bottle (by Armaf standards) is the least tacky I’ve ever seen, and the scent is in the realm of Valentino Uomo Intense/TF Noir Extreme/Etc.

I do prefer cdnim over aventus and tres nuit over git. I love lemon so the opening of cdnim doesn't bother me and I like that it's not as musky as aventus these days. It's definitely noticeably different from aventus, a good different. Tres nuit is like a sweeter version of git. I like the added sweetness and prefer it over git like your wife.

@@vanillaoud9861 Didnt try regular EDP, but got a limited edition EDP Parfum( 02/21) and it projects and smells like CDNI EDT used to smell 3-4 years ago, but without a well known harsh opening and it is a way smoother scent generally. I get 10+ hours on the skin, and at least 24h on the clothes. This version should not differ a lot from the regular EDP.

Armaf is great, it's crazy to say otherwise. The EDP Intense Man gives you the smoke that is missing from other Creed Alternatives like Mont Blanc Explorer or Parfums Vintage Pineapple so for that it is the best alternative to this original, Milestone is alright, kind of gone off it since I got better quality Summer smells in the last 6 months, Sillage is the best and I prefer it to SMW and it's not coz I am cheap, Tres Nuit is a good take on GIT and it is better than Cool Water for quality and longevity. A few other good ones, Armaf Hunter, Intense Woman and Club De Nuit Woman which is a sweeter, peachier version of Coco Chanel Mademoiselle which my partner loves and I love the smell of it on her.

Only trouble with CDNIM in Limited edition form is that the price all of a sudden isn't great value any more. I hated my last bottle of the EDT due to the lemon opening but I do like the EDP non-limited, smoothes out that opening a treat.

I haven't tried Niche Oud, but I can say that CDN Milestone and Sillage are amazing frags and probably the best in this list compared to everything else. I've tried all the other ones that Ash mentions here and they are "okay." Très Nuit is pretty good though as a second behind Milestone and Sillage. And Ventana (at least my bottle) is more potent than Pride of Armaf and gives you more of an accurate Sauvage-like feel, but it can get obnoxious at times. Armaf Craze is probably my other major favorite from the house outside of the CDN frags. I love the almond and vanilla presentation in that fragrance, but I don't know how close it is to Marly's Pegasus.

Other than CDNIM, I like Hunter Intense, this is unique because it is kind of a mix between invictus and suavage. And you got to love Craze, the Pegasus clone. But you are spot on for the bottles, tacky and for craze I had to glue the cap back together as it broke and separated.

Ash, I have a Limited Edition bottle of Club De Nuit Intense Man that is actually parfum. It is very smooth, and has no harsh opening. Great projection and longevity too. I have the EDT and EDP, as well, and the parfum is the best crafted of the three.

I bought Craze which is a clone of Pegasus from Pdm and, i honestly liked it. You definitely get the ''cheap'' aspect from a clone house but, overall i liked it. So i decided to try Tag Him..what a mistake. this smell so synthetic and harsh. You should do a top 5 worst armaf video lol

As an owner of a holy grail Aventus batch i can confirm that i will be decanting or selling the last ounce. There is an absolute negligible difference between them and i can probably sell the last ounce for more than the cost of the Creed new bottle these days. Just buy CDN in any form and embrace and never look back

Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t get past the super citrus, cleaner opening in Sillage and Milestone, I can definitely smell the Millesime Imperial come though WAAAY after the drydown, but by then, it’s so faint, it’s hardly even a skin scent. Sillage is just too over-powering. Also heard too many people say even decanting it for months doesn’t settle the opening. Had higher hopes for both, but at least I tried em.

I pretty much completely wrote Armaf off when I saw people in a group talking about with Tres Nuit you have to spray 12-15 sprays for it to perform. Regardless of price if I have to spray something that many times I don't want it. A couple of these seem interesting though.

You don't have to spray that many times. Just spray a little closer to the skin so you don't get that dry mist, but a wet spot on the skin.

I purchased a bottle of Club De Nuit Intense EDP, a year ago, I didn't think much of it back then, it seemed like the smell didn't last very long. I shelved it, it's been on the shelf for about 10 months now, and I sprayed it on earlier this week, and oh, oh, oh, its so much different, when I first spray it on there is a note of a chemical smell, but that goes away within 10 minutes, then there is an addictive note of an oud or woody fragrance, and that last for at least 6 to 8 hours. There are times I think, oh the fragrance smell is gone, but then I get a new wiff of the fragrance as it seems to come and go, almost like a time release. It maybe that my senses are playing tricks with me.

I like armaf for the Niche Fragrances that I don’t think are worth paying niche price for I.e. Cread’s Aventis ,Silver Mountain water, M Imperial. However I own a lot of other original creed but those I think are worth the money.

I tested Instense Man and i didnt like it at first. I later found myself craving to smell it again so i bought it and after wearing it a few time i really really like it and intent to buy it again when this bottle is done. Would not buy Milestone again

1 spray of Dior Sauvage EDT kills 2 sprays of Price Of Armaf. That’s a huge difference. CDNI in first 1 hour or so smells like Domestos or whatever u use to clean ur toilet. After that it’s a projection beast.
