I feel like AKC OTF get a bad reputation for literally just being a budget OTF but my buddy has had one of the F16 for a long time and it's solid. I just wish they would upgrade the steel but at the price, it's great!

Just ordered an X-treme Ace with a black handle and satin blade, a few minutes ago. It'll be a replacement for my old Microtech UDT as an EDC. It was $50 on their "sale" page. Anyway, we'll see how it goes with delivery and such, since the last time I ordered from them, they were still "Bladeplay". It did take 2 tries to get the order to go through though... I suspect it was just the thunderstorm that was going on here screwing with the internet connection. ( Nothing unusual here, this time of year. )

i just bought the lightning elite black in which i thought that blade was solid black could not tell if it was on the pic on the web site its two tone and i kinda dont like that but i like the knife itself. i want the F-16 D/A OTF next but not sure on satin dagger or Bayo Satin Plain. what the D/A Mean

I got one of the AKC EVO knives. I like it, but there is no clip. That made me sad. It has fired 100% and is comfortable in the hand, though, so that’s good.

Lol. That X-treme one is awesome. But “X-treme” sounds like a term you’d use to market a nerf gun to 8 year olds. I’m gonna buy one but I don’t like the fact that it says “X-TREME” on it.

The bladeplay on the concord's are HORRIBLE. The f16 is the best otf for the money in my opinion. I have 3 f16s and I love them

I would go for than Evo..... but no pocket clip. AKC needs to get with the times. I can understand a stiletto not having a pocket clip. I can understand the Concords not having a pocket clip. But the Evo?! Really?!

Most of these knives suck a$$ if you're really going to spend the money just spend a little more and get a viper tec.
