Which one you think is the best on this list. I got koala recently, but looking into getting digistix. Do you have the first review (Digistix) as top 1 or the other way around where the last review (sidekick) the top 1. Like best for last, or the best one is right in the beginning of the video

Apps are never in any particular order in our top lists, if they make a top 5 list you can bet it's a great app. As far which one I use personally I use digistix 2 more than koala.

Hi, is there any DRUM VST or ANDROID APP that serves as accompaniment? the one like in physical Keyboards Synths, there is drum ready to play, with variety of fills (Yahama or Roland keyboard synth)
@MobileMusicPro
@MobileMusicPro 8 ай бұрын
There is a huge variety of drum apps for iOS but android doesn't support the AUv3/VST standard so you could not use the app inside of a DAW like Cubasis or Logic on Android.

Thanks, great video, so clear. As I am hopeless at programming my own beats, does DigiStix come with inbuilt midi grooves? EG pulse does I think - would that be a good choice for acoustic drums?
@MobileMusicPro

I don't believe so, but it does come with a boat load of sounds :) And of course there is a ton of amazing drum midi packs out there from people like Cymatics, Illmind and many other producers that can really help when first learning drum patterns. And we'll also of course have drum midi packs coming out soon :) I'd say yes digistix is an excellent choice for any kind of drums :)

Hey Vortex, just wondering what you think of the cubasis internal purchase options that are on special today. Machines, arp, fx 1+2 and the waves bundles? I have a eg pulse, ruismaker, noir, patterning 2, synth drum already ;) oh and fabfilter bundle and a koalafx and a bunch of other fx options. Thx for any advice loving your videos :)
@MobileMusicPro
@MobileMusicPro 4 жыл бұрын
The waves bundles are fantastic though I do mostly prefer custom AUv3s like the fabfilter mixing plugins instead. The arps are certainly fun and the fx bundles are absolutely usable and of course don't take much cpu b/c they're built in so I end up using a few of them pretty often.

Man! You guys are reading my mind. I got Cubasis 3 last week and have been trying to figure out what drum app I wanted. So awesome! I also have a question. Do you know how to gain stage in Cubasis? Like if I pull in an audio clip from an old GarageBand session and I want the volume to be overall lower on my meter before going into any plugins. I know other DAWs have a gain control. I can’t find it on Cubasis. Any ideas?
@MobileMusicPro
@MobileMusicPro 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! We've got a ton of top apps videos on the channel and more to come :) But I highly recommend you checkout our Cubasis 3 for beginners video where we go into alot of these questions. I believe you're just looking for the mixer to adjust volume on the track or the ability to adjust volume per clip/region on a track, and of course on the mixer you'll also find the master channel to adjust volume for entire project. Apologies if this is not the answer you're looking for, if it's not perhaps you could go into more detail :)

MobileMusicPro it’s pre fader. So that your fader can be set at zero and you can adjust how loud that audio is. It helps during mixing because there’s a sweet spot for audio volume when going into a plug-in. Actually now that I’m thinking about it, I think there is an option to put a plug-in on a track pre fader in Cubasis. I bet I could just put in a flat eq on the pre fader side and use the output volume to do what I’m talking about. DAWs like ProTools and Reason Etc. have a little adjustment knob in the corner of each track called gain. It really helps with your mixes because you don’t end up with a “roller coaster” on your faders. The closer to zero you are on a fader the more control you have over the volume. You can be way more precise with volume changes when you’re starting at zero. I’ll have to go check if I’m right about that pre fader plug-in thing. I’ll let you know. If it turns out to work it may be a good topic for one of your videos! Thanks for getting my gears turning.

@@MobileMusicPro Does DigiStix allow you freedom to add your own samples and drum without a sequencer?
@MobileMusicPro
@MobileMusicPro 4 жыл бұрын
@@bjamminsincebirth3494 So DigiStix for sure let's you add your own samples, and technically you can just use the sequencer within DigiStix to program drums. However it's also an AUv3 midi effect allowing you to just use its sequencer to control midi within your DAW and not use any sounds within DigiStix at all. It's up to you :)
