Your vid showed me a couple more ovens I will look at, I want to see more info on durability and repairability though - Wolf doesn't seem to support repair of their very expensive ovens, telling customers to buy a new very expensive oven - some other manufactures would not support owners with part numbers for items such as door springs, and some make their ovens to NOT be repairable. I don't want to buy a new toaster oven every few years, especially if it is expensive. And I really love made in the USA products.

I had an Oster oven for many years and used it every day. Unfortunately it was time to let it go. Now i have a Toshiba and am trying to get use to it. It's a smaller model than I had but seems to do the job so far.

I've had several of these. Cuisinart: crumb tray is flat so when cooking meats, it spits grease all over the counter. It runs hot and only at one temp - about 425. Breville: I have had 2. The $3.00 heating element is buried and when it goes out, you can't get to it to replace it. But it doesn't spit grease. I didn't buy the Calphalon since it is not readily available, BUT the pans they make are junk so I don't think it would be any good. Get the Breville.

I have had to breville smart ovens. Both went out. They built like crap especially for what you pay for them!

@@NipItInTheBud100 I know. I got my 2nd breville at home goods for $100, but it's the mini.

I got my breville at goodwill for 10 bucks. I strapped it to my bicycle and rode it 5 miles home banging against the frame the whole way and falling occasionally. Still fired right up. Makes a great pizza.

Are the cavities of these ovens made with aluminum?

Its not judged by price the dearest being the best,. The best is what it looks like what it can do married with the price

Better to get a "no name" oven, they are just as good, tend to have more functions (21) and larger oven (30L). I got a "Sage lookalike" for half the price of a Sage, and with better features!

Non of them for me i like 4 control nods easier set, no chance of mix up with heating and timing. I like a higher size from base to inside top of oven. If i wanted to cook bread in an iron pot or enameled basin with lid. I had a double oven on my neff cooker it did beautiful things alas i had to leave when i came out here. I do not like thai bread to sweet to fluffy and two soft. We had hardb fired rolls in Scotland and i loved them especially for BLT. I have perused quite a few and it looks like i will have to go for a slightly older model of oven. The new ones are for kids no old geezers like me. best of luck in your sales i would have demanded that you have a price on those you looked at that was the way i was brought up and i hate the American way it looks a lot like price fixing like the cars. When they ask to speak to you no chance i generally know what i want and have read up and found the cheapest one for my use and i just want to here the total price and i will decide on that start adding tax and this the latest model and while you are saying it i have gone. All that yanks do is generally crap. even there food.

Why don't they make ones that open sideways, like a microwave? Or at least a removable door? We all know the crumbs goes down. The door always make it tricky to clean.
