I don't know how anyone affords premium whole dog foods kits or products for large dogs, much more if you have several. For my 130lb akbash 2 years-old it needs 6 to 8 scoops of regular kibble (Summer vs Winter) and the air-dried or dehydrated foods take nearly the same amount. I'd go bankrupt. It would cost $170 every two weeks for the cheapest formula (Unkibble). Up double that for Sundays and RedBarn dehydrated. So this is what I do: I feed 50% kibble (rotating thru best brands I find), 35% lightly cooked whole chicken, fish, and/or hamburger with its broth and bones. 15% raw veggies/fruits that are blended up and mixed-up into kibble/meats. Every week I give these supplements, three times weekly: green powder with probiotics, cod/cold water fish oil (various brands), and. 2 raw eggs with crushed shells. I don’t give them these on the same days, I spread them out on different days.

Thanks for sharing your approach! Do you notice a difference between premium food and your blend - other than the cost?

@TheTopFiveTheTopFIve mines better. They like anything enough to eat it, but prefer the fresh cooked and raw obviously more.

I switched from Orijen to Farmina for better quality at the same or lower price than Orijen.
