Have heard slightly negative reviews about the sound quality being worse compared to the Cloud 2 (less bass and directional audio). But it does come with a companion EQ software and has the best mic quality I’ve heard from a gaming headset. It’s still a viable buy on a good deal.

Cloud 3, the mic is a lot better and generally it's way more comfortable to wear! The only downside is that the sound quality to pick up small sounds is actually less detailed and a bit too bass boosted than with the Cloud 2. but that's only when you use the sound card, if you plug it into your 3,5 controller port it's fine, overall the Cloud 3 is the better headset here but they could've done more for sure

Hi guys, if u don't like headsets or in hotter countries. I suggest an in-ear monitor. Tangzu Wan'er for $20 then u can buy lavalier microphone the condenser type coz it doesn't pick up as much noise as omnidirectional. Fifine has one for around $12. U can connect it to 3.5mm dual head female cable then 1 male other end if u wanna sit far like in a console living room. There's also a neckband bluetooth with microphone called Kinera Celest if u want wireless it costs $25. For under $50 bucks total I swear the sound is miles better than a headphone. I personally use this as headset is too hot and heavy for me in my tropical country and I want good sound.

@@Jake-vg3sr I have the hyper cloud Bluetooth ones that I really enjoy, extremely long battery life with low charging time, pretty good sound quality, and decent mic quality all around pretty good headphones, but they are only compatible with PC not consoles. If you have a stand alone mic get a pair of Sony headphones with actual amazing sound quality, anything with a built in mic will automatically be worse for some reason

@@fantasma8253If you’re looking for something with high quality sound and you want to use it for both gaming and music then I would suggest you buying something decent and neutral sounding. These gaming headphones often have a lot of bass in them which might be good for certain games but higher frequency sounds are usually more muffled and a lot less pronounced which makes them not very ideal for listening to music if you’re looking for audiophile grade sound. Try aiming for something with neutral sound signature to get that studio like sound.

The sound still isn't great in terms of pinpoint directional sounds, but they're actually very comfy. And I love how they look. Will probably return again tho cuz my ath m50s and sennheiser game zeros sound better.
