I have had Forerunner 255, and 265 this month and just ordered the 955 today. Forerunner 265 has a nicer screen compared to 255, however, I have noticed a consistent delay when accessing workout statistics and sometimes when switching back to the watch face from the menu. This could be due to the fact that the processor in the Forerunner 265 is the same as in the Forerunner 255, potentially having difficulties in rendering more pixels (and silly animations) because I never experience this with 255. The 265 battery life lasts around 3 days with always-on enabled and about 8 days without it.

If you have tattoo on your watch wearing hand.. don't buy a new garmin, before you try, if the wrist heart rate sensor works first :) otherwise u can end up with "a new and improved" sports watch, which you can wear only on your untattood hand.

When I go a easy run that is my current 5k pb is 18:57 so my easy pace is around 5:20 to 5:40 so when I do the easy runs in these paces then my Garmin says the heart rate above aerobic zone,so is it good or Garmin say wrong?

Garmin is not a health tracker at all. It says I’m sleeping when I’m watching tv and then going to the toilet before actually going asleep . Furthermore it misses hr by 30bpm compared to Polar h10.

i have FR 245 and h10 and i have never been close to 30bpm away with the optical sensor of the garmin. You should tighten the watch more or get it checked

My FR255 is spot on regarding sleep tracking and HR rate, but also GPS is very accurate when it comes to step count, floors, etc. My body battery corresponds exactly with how I feel. Maybe you wear the watch to loose? I have no complaints at all and love the battery life!

I discovered that the Fenix watches are heavy on wrist, cold when minus degrees, bad light and bad vibration. I would go woth a forerunner 255 music or something like that instead.

Aa a Garmin owner, it depends on what you prioritize. Garmin is a much better watch if you really just want a sports GPS watch with some lite smart capability. Apple is a much better watch if you want a smart watch with some fitness tracking. Apple actually has the better HR sensor from what reviews I've seen have said, but the problem with Apple comes from it's short battery life and lack of native support for some activities requiring you to download separate apps. Garmin watches have battery life generally measured in multiple days (Vivoactive, Venu, Epix), sometimes weeks (Fenix, Tactix, Enduro) and depending on model, sometimes months if you are willing to give up pretty colors on your screen (Instinct). With Apple you charge pretty much daily, unless you feel like coughing up for the Ultra so you can charge every two days or so. Newer Apple Watches can make and take calls without your phone present, reply to texts and other things like that, while Garmin usually only lets you view a text, see incoming calls and if you have an Android device, reply with a prewritten response out of a list of prewritten responses. Apple Watch is primarily navigated by touch, while with Garmin it depends on model. Some are mostly touch like Apple, some are only navigated via a 5 button layout, and some can do both. There are pros and cons to both forms of navigation, like buttons being better if you are wearing gloves, swimming or it's raining while touch is just simply more fluid and natural feeling. Garmin has a variaty of display options, from monochromatic (Instinct) to MIP Transflective (Fenix, Enduro, Some Forerunners) to AMOLED (Epix, Venu) so you can prioritize just how pretty you want the screen to be vs how long the battery will last. Personally I prefer the Transflective models, they might not have the best colors but they are a lot easier on my eyes after a 10hr shift of staring at monitors and don't use much battery at all. A select few Garmin watches are capable of mapping and navigation with preloaded topographic maps that include hiking and walking trails. Really good if you spend a lot of days outside of cell service so your cellphone won't work as a GPS. I guess really the best thing you can do, is go to Garmin's website and just read the feature lists on the watches, Garmin's website actually has fairly good breakdowns of each watch including what activities they are capable of tracking (not every watch has every activity). Edit: The reality is that a 10min video is simply not enough information to really make the decision. My Fenix 6x Pro has an HOUR long operation tutorial by the channel "How To" where he goes over how to work the watches basic functions, and then he has smaller more in-depth videos on top of that for individual widgets that require more explanation. While I'm not suggesting you watch several hours of operational videos, perhaps checking out some channels like DC Rainmaker Desfit and Chase the Summit might help you narrow down exactly what you want out of a watch.
