Dave Gimour is simply the best.

Gilmour is very good and was an inspiration of mine to learn guitar though I've concluded he is highly over-rated. He did around 10 very good solos on the songs of Roger Waters through the 1970s. And almost anyone can learn to play them well within several years of learning guitar. Meanwhile other guitarists did dozens of great solos, that few can emulate.
