I personally would not have put a wireless keyboard that requires a USB receiver, since it is only useful for PC and few tablets, where bluetooth is basically available on everything these days, meaning more possible things to use it on without any hassle.

Agreed but the signal/connection seems stronger using the dongle. I'm using the Rii 8+ with a minipc burried behind a TV in behind a wall mount and I get a great connection.

You can probably get an OTG USB Female to Type-C adapter or USB Female to mini-USB to attach the dongle to a cell-phone.

I have one of the Fosman mini keyboards with the orange pads on it and whilst it's ok to use the fact that you have to hold down the Fn key to use the F Keys is a pain in the arse. Would have been better if the F keys were the default instead of the multi media keys.

Seeing that it's designed to be used like a TV remote for stream boxes the media keys being standard makes more sense.

ЗАМЕЧАНИЯ по использованию данной мини-клавиатуры с ТВ-боксами на OS Android и Android-TV: 1) То, что у этой клавиатуры есть ролик прокрутки (красный) -- это очень *хорошо.* Так как на Android и Android-TV приставках со скроллированием WEB-страниц (например, в Google Chrome) *на физических клавиатурах* (или Air-пультах) есть некоторые проблемы и существенные неудобства: • так как с помощью зажания Левой Клавиши Мыши (ЛКМ) страницы и "протягивания" курсора на Тачпаде (или Air-пульте) WEB-страницы в Google Chrome *не скроллируются...* Вместо этого идёт выделение текста... ((((( • а если страницу скроллировать стрелками, то нужно сперва позиционировать курсором нужную часть страницы (если страница состоит из двух частей, которые могут скроллироватиься каждая отдельно, например, на сайте HOTLINE в режиме "Версия для ПК") и только потом скроллировать её с помощью стрелок [Down] (вниз) или [Up] (вверх). При этом страница скроллируется не плавно, а "рывками" (построчно)... И результат такого скроллирования не всегда тот, что вам необходим. И это раздражает... Надеюсь, что красный ролик прокрутки на этой клавиатуре работает по такому же принципу, что колёсико прокрутки у мыши. Тогда это будет действительно удобно. 2) То, что у этой клавиатуры есть левая клавиша мыши это тоже *хорошо.* Вопрос только в том: *насколько* эта Левая Клавиша Мыши (ЛКМ) расположена *удобно* для её использования. *СОВЕТ:* Если вы будете покупать компактную клавиатуру прямоугольного форм-фактора с тачпадом для управления ТВ-боксами на OS Android и Android-TV, и Смарт-Телевизорами, то покупайте такую клавиатуру, у которой обязательно есть Тачпад, а клавиша (ЛКМ) *продублирована* ещё и *над* клавишей [Esc]. Так как по личному опыту могу сказать, что вы будете в 99.9% случаев пользоваться именно вот этой продублированной (ЛКМ), а не (ЛКМ) на Тачпаде. *ЗАМЕЧАНИЕ 1:* А вот Правой Клавишей Мыши (ПКМ) на Android я практически не пользуюсь. Поэтому она для меня не важна. Хотя в настройках ТВ-бокса «Ugoos AM6B Plus» (не знаю, как у других) есть возможность задать для (ПКМ) Тачпада действие [НАЗАД]. Но см. ЗАМЕЧАНИЕ 2. *ЗАМЕЧАНИЕ 2:* Кстати, обычно и (ЛКМ), и (ПКМ) на Тачпаде нажимаются *ощутимо туже* чем остальные клавиши клавиатуры, в том числе и дополнительная (ЛКМ) над [Esc]. Сделано это для предотвращения ложных срабатываний этих клавиш. И это ещё одна причина по которой пользоваться (ЛКМ) и (ПКМ) на Тачпаде *не хочется...* Но главное то, дополнительной (ЛКМ) над [Esc] пользоваться очень удобно, так как расположена она очень удачно. Это понимаешь, когда начинаешь пользоваться такой клавиатурой. *ЗАМЕЧАНИЕ 3:* Выбирайте такую клавиатуру, у которой есть возможность *отключать* Тачпад. Причём отключать не полностью, а только реакцию на "двойной тап". То есть сам курсорный указатель продолжает перемещаться по экрану, но случайные нажатия на Тачпад (например, мизинцем) не вызывают изменения "фокуса" курсора и случайного срабатывания каких-то элементов интерфейса. То есть при наборе текста курсор не переместится случайно в другое место, не начётся выделение текста, не вызовется какой-то пункт меню, не перейдёте случайно по ссылке..., и т.п. 3) И ещё у этой клавиатуры *НЕТ очень важной клавиши,* которая очень часто используется в Android: нет клавиши для вызова [Списка Запущенных Приложений]. А именно этой клавишей на OS Android пользоваться приходится гораздо чаще чем [«Домиком»] или клавишей [«Меню»]. *ЗАМЕЧАНИЕ 4:* • Очень удобно, когда на клавиатуре есть клавиши управления звуком: [ Mute (X) ], [ - ], [ + ]. • Также удобно когда на клавиатуре есть клавиши "перемоток" (управления воспроизведением): [ ||| ] (пауза/продолжение), [ >>| ] (вперёд). Хотя, в том же KZbin действие клавиши [ >|| ] (пауза/продолжение) продублировано с помощью нажатия на клавишу [ Space Bar ]. Так что я, например, клавишами управления воспроизведением практически не пользуюсь... Уж не знаю почему... Наверное это дело привычки... Вернее, её отсутствия. )))))
