We moved here from Houston and live in Castle Hills. I’m a sucker for mid century modern ranch style homes! For the price we paid for almost an acre of land right smack in the middle of San Antonio with a 3300 square-foot home and a pool can’t beat it!

Watching this video again. Great vid. Still on the fence about moving to San Antonio from San Diego, CA. Where I was born and raised. Just want a bigger place for my growing family. Love California and there was a time California was affordable. Initially my 4 bedroom 3000sqft house I bought with my mom was $320,000 back in 2003 in Chula Vista, CA. I just want a change. No politics just want to live in peace.

@aberod112 жыл бұрын
Yes. I love Terrell Hills, Alamo Heights, Castle Hills, Monte Vista, Shavano Park, Olmos Park, etc. Great neighborhoods still WITHIN the city limits and not way the hell outside of 1604. Like he said in the video "you can spend your life LIVING there. Not GETTING there". I enjoy being a part of my city's culture, feel, and vibe; not separated from it in a cookie-cutter planned community/neighborhood.

You should definitely check out Stone Oak👉🏾 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqG6epxphKaIp9k Canyon Springs is just North of Stone Oak and it's a really nice neighborhood too. This video you commented on also mentions Cibolo Canyons, which is just on the other side of Hwy 281. This is one of my favorite hoods and I have a full video about that one coming soon. You might also look into Indian Springs, which is right next to Cibolo Canyons... all great areas we've helped folks move to! Were you considering a move in the near future?

What areas in san antonio isn't prone to flooding?

what community does not have HOA or if they do they are not so demanding.
@SanAntonioTexasLiving4 жыл бұрын
HOA's are really common here, especially in neighborhoods built in the last 20yrs. They're usually only $300-$600/yr and have fairly standard covenants with lots of amenities. For the most part they just make sure people keep their grass cut and don't park campers in the community. Other than that Texans don't like being told what to do so the HOA's are pretty chill😎
@vanessalopez25654 жыл бұрын
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving I like the benefits of HOA but my husband is straight NO. you are right Texans dont like to be told what to do. My husband is like if im paying for a house I get to do what I want with it.

Tnere's definitely options to be in a nice area without an HOA, just depends on location. We'd be happy to talke in more detail whenever you available for a quick call.
