Honestly, I love the Ave's. I've lived in SLC before. (The Gateway Mall, Downtown) and honestly, the neighborhood is peaceful and wholesome!!! Thanks for the video!

Right now I would definitely say move to Park City as it's very close to Salt lake and easy commute. I say that because you don't have the air pollution that sits in the Salt lake valley many times during the year!

Buyer beware: if you buy in the avenues, be sure if the house is old and on a slope that the ground is not slumping (look for cracks in the foundation or separating steps). Liberty Wells was hit hard in last year’s earthquake. Lots of homes were damaged, some worse than others.

We live on the west end of the downtown area (one block south of the arena) and it suuuuucks. Lots of homeless (I'm not saying all homeless people are problematic) that trespass on our property, go to the bathroom on the street, walk around screaming, drunk people passed out. We're hoping to find something in the Marmalade district, but it's kinda pricey.

I wish LANDLORDS in Utah would make these type of videos showing affordable apartments/condos to rent out. Not everyone wants nor can buy a house as a 25 year old. I need a 1 bd under $1000 monthly

I'm guessing the further up on the bench you are, the better the view, and the more you're going to pay for it. Is that accurate?

Typically, yes. There is some variation here, but for the most part, the further north or east you go, the more expensive it gets

Hey man thanks for the comment. There are actually a number of condo's listed in the low 300's and even some under that price range. You can even find the occasional single family home in the low 300's as well, although it will undoubtedly go quickly. I'm happy to send you a list of homes if you like! Thanks for watching.

Completely agree, your pricing is really misleading... a cheap buy-in, in the Aves is 650K (for a POS trap house that was destroyed in an earthquake). Cannot wait to hear the pricing on area like the Cove ;-)

If you re-watch the video, you'll see that I actually say that your median priced home in that area will be 400-700k, depending on size, quality, street, and upgrades. So, I'm not sure that I am misleading in any way? There will be a new video about the Cove coming in the next few months, so look out for it. 😀

Great question! It really depends on where you want to live and price range? You can find cheaper stuff on the west side of town, but you'll be further away from the heart of the city.
