Nope it’s 1 Carrollwood, 2 citrus park, 3 Lutz, 4 west chase and 5 keystone. Do not listen to this tourist list! Ybor city is NOT SAFE, Hyde park is overpriced and you’ll get mugged in Seminole Heights or Ybor city. Downtown Tampa same, overpriced and not safe after dark!
@shannongivens56309 ай бұрын
I've heard this too. Are those areas you mentioned somehow better?
@Sparkito7778 ай бұрын
If you enjoy lunch at Golden Corral, 5pm dinner at Olive Garden, in bed by 7:45pm these neighborhoods are for you!
@Mickgeodan238 ай бұрын
Carrollwood, Citrus Park, and Lutz are a good distance from anything enjoyable. Lutz is like farm land! Most young couples would rather be closer to the city and entertainment

You put Ybor City? A crime riddled cesspool? Not Harbour Island or Davis Islands?
@rojado777Ай бұрын
Your forgetting south Tampa. Which is actually south of Gandy Blvd. I grew up there from the seventies. We were considered white trash there. Now it's the last frontier to the south, and all the richies are building and buying upscale houses. They move in and think they're the captain of the block.

8:35 not sure I would agree that you would want to live in the Ybor area. It's a great place to party and visit. Not sure I want to live there though.
@rojado777Ай бұрын
Ybor, used to be businesses up and down 7th Ave. Now it's just mainly bars, and it's just a party town.

Flamingo dancers? 😂 .. you sound like a tourist

Hey bud, I am keenly aware of the difference between Flamingo 🦩 and Flamenco 💃 but don’t stress out about being perfect on camera. But hey, it’s it’s easy to just be a keyboard troll. Feel free to start a chanel and be perfect for your audience. I’m sure the world will be better for it.

Still is according to a few friends I trust that lived in Tampa before. The biggest blocker is house prices, salaries can't keep up with the economy and inflation, less ppl can keep up with mortgages/rents. Perhaps we have hope if the market crashes lol

I live in Brandon for the one whose asking. I love it here. I would recommend you move south of Brandon Blvd.

I would omit a few of these and replace with Harbor Island, Westshore north of Gandy near malll, Palma Ceia...Some are high dollar but extremely nice and safe

Those are all great neighborhoods too. And yes, well above the average home price in the bay area.

Saved. From London originally, I moved to Frisco TX (DFW Area) 23 years ago. I'm a 50-year-old empty-nester thinking of relocating to the Tampa Area in April 2024. Thinking about Dunedin, FL.....

There is a lot of heavy traffic in Brandon. The best part of Brandon is that it is so close to I4 and I75.

He’s painting the beautiful picture of Tampa, however, it’s very congested, traffic is horrible and the cost of living is horrendous.
@trulivingtampa9 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your perspective. Please understand that what I’m about to share isn’t to be combative. It’s simply to share the data. Tampa isn’t in the top 25 for most expensive cost of living, in fact, nationally, we are considered affordable. Same with traffic. Now, if you live here, traffic can be crazy, and I agree. Also, if you’re making less than $75k as a household it’s tough, but that’s everywhere in the country.
