I have a 2008 Mazda 6 that I bought brand new; it started leaking oil ( mildly ) at 138,000 miles. My cousin who is a mechanic and has been for 30 years pointed out the leak when we put the car on the lift to change the oil. He recommended Lucas Oil Stop Leak; he told me to head to Walmart and pick up a bottle ( using another car ) and when I returned he poured the entire contents into the crankcase and told me to drive the car for at least 30 minutes ensuring that seals would expand; the oil leak STOPPED and he told me every time I change the oil that I should pour in a new bottle to ensure that the leak doesn't return; the alternative would be expensive because of the hours spent to breakdown the engine just to replace a $20.00 gasket.

I've tried Barr's and it did not stop a small leak in my Toyota.

Absolute garbage...do NOT use this crap. I owned a transmission shop and these addtives did so much damage they helped me put our son through college. Frankly, if I had my way I would make a law that everyone MUST use this stuff...I would have needed a shop 10x larger!!
