Strange how griffs 2nd star power had no changes yet all of a sudden it went from the worst sp to a top 5… Glad to see others have discovered it’s potential, especially when combined with the health gear

Yep, seems like people have discovered its essentially Tick's SP. It combines with damage gear a bit better though imo cuz you can play at low health for most of the time

It got some buffs tho. They buffed Griffs unload speed and nerfed the starpower that boosts it. Than they buffed the healing SP. But still, I was so surprised to see this SP. Like, what about Crow, Squeak, Janet? But still Griff is OP.

Ok 1 It doesn't combine with health gear(it only considers NATURAL healing) 2 it did get buffed. Went from 7% healing to 10% and finally 15% and Griff's unload time was decreased to 0.5 seconds

The problem of Griff not be a "must pick" to counter tank brawlers on certain maps/modes is Gale. He's so nasty with this 1st star power and he can cycle so easilly If this star power get a nerf on next patch, Griff will be a more atractive pick on Power League and on competitive scenario in general

time to commit nerf idea again business resilience- wait time increased to 2.5s (from 2) protective pirouette- shield decreased to 32% (from 35%) magic puffs- healing decreased to 300 (from 400) blustery blow- stun duration reduced to 0.75s (from 1.25) curveball- (REWORK) spike's attack and super have their projectile speed increased by 35% (or just reduce the curve lol)

I agree with all of these except for the 3rd placed starpower (kinda). It is a good amount of healing per second. But you need to bunch up for value, which is not good cuz splash damage brawlers get a ton of value and if someone misses you, there is a chance that the same attack hits somebody else. I don´t say it is bad. But I ptobably wouldn´t put it in the top 3. Also I am not that much of a pro, so I might be underestimating it a lot.

Have to disagree 400 hp per second is amazing and all you have to do is stand near gene and when you say splash damage that's mainly like Jessie or penny right? You could just dodge or move away from gene for a bit to disperse the shot then go back towards him

I agree with these picks, but with Gene, I just feel like everybody ignores his second star power, which I think is actually quite underrated. With Grom's speed star power, it's less useful because you generally just want to use your super, so the speed might not be too useful in some situations. Whereas with Gene, you never just want to use your super on a whim, because he can easily pull somebody who will kill him, therefore its a bit more situational. With this in mind, I actually think that spirit slap is a more useful star power in certain gamemodes, because you are less likely to use your super all the time

Gene's super in 3v3s is game changing. Many people also underrate his super! You can pull the gem carrier or high bounty enemy and get the gems and stars then just keep the control and you win. Or you can pull someone and kill them which will help you gain control over the map. Gene can't kill anyone on its own (except cryingman) so your teammates need to help you. And with his 1st sp he will stay with his teammates like 80% of the times so it makes it even more easier. Not to mention that 400 healing is a lot! Stu with his gaso heal sp heals 400 per super but magic puffs is like a passive ability. It heals forever!

@@CryingMan Makes sense tbh, some brawlers can push up the map easier with the extra healing, so it's a lot easier to put pressure on the enemy. First 3:53 I think too Gene first star power needs some nerf tho, and 7:03 honestly I say that Spike second star power is so annoying and no skill.... when you use the super and 3 shots for gale, if u don't have enough ammo for 3rd shot u should use gadget to open space for the 3rd one. This op combo will guarantee a free kill. :)

My favorite star power is. Nita's Hyper Bear which allows your bear's attack speed increase combine that with her stun gadget OH BOI~ that is a nasty combo against Edgar players. Second is Piper's Ambushed. Do you want to be a real sniper in the battlefield and always camp like a Coward? Well this is for you. This star power allows you to deal higher damage when you are hiding in the bush, which is a deadly combination with your other gadget which homes at your opponent.

I would not nerf Magic Puffs too hard though because before buffs, it was one of the worst star powers in the game. Only when it got buffed to 400 hp, people were still skeptical about it until someone start using it and realized its value.

Where is Megs first star power? I feel like people kind of forgot about it, Meg might not be the best brawler right now in the meta, but a 35% shield for 30 Seconds is really insane, easily the longest shield duration in the game by far. I feel like if it was on any other brawler, people would be screaming for a nerf and complaining every day, but the fact that it's on Megs normal form balances it out a bit.
