The howler path is the best according to my personal preferences. So is the marauder path, but rather take the scorpion because it is the best tier 6. However I end up taking the a-speedster path most of the time. But again all paths should be tried out and then picked according to the player’s choice. And like jelllo said it is mostly about adapting.......

For marauder I usually use the delta>side fighter>x warrior>t warrior way because they are all very good attackers if used correctly and very good miners.

Note that the mid-combat upgrade strategy is quite risky to do. Something inaccurate you stated is "when your about to die" as that would be when your gem cargo is almost drained, and of course that would mean you would be unable to upgrade. Instead, watch your shield VERY carefully. This is especially important when fighting ships with large pulses as they can immediately obliterate a large percentage of your full cargo if your shield is already low. When you realise it will be disabled upon the next shot, you need to upgrade immediately. This is a decent strategy, and will probably catch the enemy off-guard, but ensure that you can click on the upgrade fast enough, especially since you have to press U first if the bar is retracted. If I'm not wrong there are number shortcuts to upgrading, you can keep a finger on it so that you can upgrade at the right moment. Also note that a lot of tier 6 ships can wipe out a tier 7 ship when used properly, so only use this strategy if you have done decent damage to your opponent -- otherwise, retreat and get a reasonably full cargo before you approach the enemy again.

my favorite path is the barracuda, well its very op againts tier 1/7 (expect advanced fighter or a-speeder) its ramming power level is 200 ramming bash power level is over 5000 when ramming them into asteroid field, barracuda's recharge rate is very slow, but damage buff is useless it does not increases ramming damage, but speed does increase ramming power, have a healer near you when you are at the barracuda path.

For damage, the wiki says for a fact that the U-Smasher damage upgrade actually reduces damage to increase laser speed and therefore ship speed. I am unsure of it but I think they would probably do something similar with the Barracuda. If anyone knows for sure pls tell me thanks

The dash that it does when you click increases in speed when you increase damage, meanign it gets stronger

Advanced fighter path and O defender path are the best paths on my opinion ( depends on the situation)

Scorpion Barracuda and the A speedster are my number 1 go to as if you look at the map first and each of these ships are good in different situations for example for flipping a game in which the losing team is behind on mining I would go barracuda. If they are lots of fast ships such as marauder and a speedster I would go scorp to counter and the A speedster is actually good in any situation believe it or not.

Just my personal opinion this is neutral but I think it’s the best t4, and is one of the best t4s for attacking with just a few upgrades, namely damage and Regen

I think mercury is the best T4. It's a good miner and the only T4 with a pulse shot outside of the Vanguard. I don't really like the Furystar actually, poor miner, takes too long to max, and the firepower feels so weak. I usually prefer to stay at T4 a long time and use a fully upgraded Mercury to defend the team and go on offense then try to power through T5 and basically go straight to T6. This allows a lot more opportunity for donating gems to the base and fighting the other team instead of mining asteroids which can really give your teammates upgrading their T5 a break.

regular path for me: (fly > delta fighter > side fighter > side interceptor > howler > rock tower,) cause this path works for me and the rock tower is very versatile and an excellent attacker, the reason why i did not add the pioneer is cause the thing is slow to upgrade quickly and slow at mining that would never work for me. and rock tower will quickly dish out dps if fighting drones are used and making it a threat to other teams but very op when using the combat drones or explosive missiles and rockets 2nd path: fly > delta fighter > pulse fighter > mercury > chose furystar or t-warrior because both are excellent ships, > condor or scorpion reason why i use this path is both the scorp and condor are my fav ships in this game, and both have blast damage the reason why I don't play scorp often is its difficult to master and upgrading too many causes it to not fire off a shot so you will have to use drones to compensate. i chose condor due to: A. 2 shots make it a double attacking ship and if you miss you will get a second chance. B. damage is very high, and you can spin out enemies in battle C. its versatile and you can equip mining, combat, healing, defender drones making it a support and a combat ship as well its good at mining gems for your teams

all i do is go for the delta fighter then the one that has 2 little shots and 1 big shot, then the one kinda like that but it looks like it could hug the space rocks. pro tip, upgrade the regen first. then move on to sheild regen. upgrade it with 1 point of damage but no less, it constantly fires with no pausing. then i go for the one with 4 jets and it looks like an X wing crossed with the millana from guardians of the galaxy, and lastly either the scorpion or the marauder. then i either get the shadow sumthin sumthin or the bastion

Na, A speedster path is very good at attacking. You usually get the jump on them and side fighter has very highdps. Both x warrior and side Interceptor or good attackers and miners as well. Aeros is better at long range due to the curve of its lasers. Every single ship is so good for me. I main this path.

I've seen some people that seem to always be able to be 3 levels ahead instead of 2. Is that a paid subscription thing? What I mean is at level 3, for example, players are sometimes in a level 6 ship. And I've noticed this on my own team, so I know it isn't because someone attacked the base and pushed it back level 3 from level 4. It was never level 4 and yet they are in level 6 ships. Never seen anyone in a level 7 ship though when we hadn't reached level 5 (level 4 max) yet. Btw, I'm still kind of newb... am I just not doing something I should be doing to get that extra level?

The condor which follows the same path as a speedster does more damage than a speed and has more shield, the only problem is that it is a bit slower than a speed. However, the condor is a faster miner and can beat an a speed is use skillfully. Also, I won a game using only a maxed out pulse fighter and a few missiles, just killing t6 with the missiles

MERCURY IS LESS THAN AVERAGE ATTACKING SHIP? I was absolutely disgusted when I heard this. The mercury is the best tier 4 attack ship, no contest. When fully upgraded it will crush any other tier 4 fully upgraded ship. In fact, you can defeat any ship with the mercury, if you use it right. ANY SHIP. You really need to re-evaluate your views, because the Mercury is an incredible miner and attacker. It actually needs to get nerfed. If you want to take the time, check my KZbin channel, and you will see in the latest video that the mercury is extremely powerful. By the way, I'm not saying this to be rude, I just wanted to point this out. Have a great day :)

Aetos, despite being lighter than even the Furystar, is relatively heavy, and can powermine better than the X-2. However for combat I would choose the X-2, its speed is great for a hit-and-run lifestyle, as well as for chasing lower-tier ships and bombing people with secondaries

@@DarkLord-mf7oi Advf and scorpion's dps is based literally entirely off of their energy regen since after shooting once, both ships will need to wait before shooting again due to the power of the bullet. The scorpion only has 10 less energy regen than the advf, and even though its secondaries are way weaker than the advanced fighter's, they consume half the energy, meaning the scorpion should have just as much or almost as much dps as the advf

star blast is crap... got all the assholes fighting for gems.. I just destroyed a huge asteroids and boom I go toward and get rammed by a teammate and my gems stolen. this game is the epitome of single player, cuz noone backs you upm noone helps you, any noone gives a shit idf they kill you no matter what team your on.... not being able to communicate is the worst thing in a multiplayer game....
