The Polygon Colussus N9 is sub 3k and spec'd way better drivetrain, suspension and brakes than most on that list though

Good grief, I can hardly think of anywhere in the UK that deserves anything more than a medium travel trail bike at most. Malverns, short travel is ample. Sheesh. Get a grip UK

gt force sport is a good budget option to pick up!!

GT Force sport. It can be bought for £1200. Granted it doesn't have rhe popular SRAM and Shimano drivetrains but Advent X is decent enough for most.

Only if you’re trying to climb fast. Enduro riders don’t particularly care about climbing fast so weight isn’t bad
