I've never heard a description of Three Dark Crowns as detailed as yours :) I love Kendare's writing but I was iffy about picking this one up because everyone seems to be disliking it somewhat. But after hearing you talk about it, I must pick it up! Furthermore also sounds amazing👌🏼

I love how diverse you are in what you read. So many booktubers get stuck on YA and you are just all over the place. I love it. I had started reading Three Dark Crowns, but it was borrowed from the library and I got super busy and had to return the book before I could finish it. Then I read a few bad reviews and thought maybe I didn't want to read it...I may revisit that decision now.

I'm reading the Diabolic right now and I LOVE IT SO MUCH! This story is SO GORGEOUS. I also really loved Three Dark Crowns and The Hammer of Thor (I think HoT was my favorite book that I read this year.)

So refreshing to see a positive review on Three Dark Crowns! and also... Illuminae. Holyyy crap. Fav book of the year! But definitely best to go in blind, I didn't know a single thing other than it was Sci-fi and that was the best thing ever!

Yess Furthermore reminded me of The Phantom Tollbooth too, and I looooved it!! I also absolutely adored Crooked Kingdom. Probably my favorite book of the year! But I unfortunately really didn't like Three Dark Crowns at all. I felt so disconnected from the writing style and the characters. I don't think I'll be continuing that series, but glad you enjoyed it :)

I haven't looked in any of the illustrated HP books - I really want to!! I'm glad you enjoyed Illuminae! I tried it last December and sadly did not enjoy it at all but loved the format. I DNF'd it to be honest but I will pick it up and try it again soon.

I didn't quite like Stealing Snow I felt like a lot of what happened was fanfic-like? If that makes sense. I felt like Because snow was so young in this story a lot of the things that happened were quite childish. I honestly just felt like I was reading a fanfic. It could have gone so much further but oh well. Still well suited for young teens.

Will you do a "Books I Want To Read in 2017" video? Just a suggestion. I love your videos! We have a similar taste in books, so I find books to read through your channel. I'm going to read Seven Realms, Falling Kingdoms, Mistborn and Codex Alera next year. Pretty sure I will love them all.

Oh my god Crooked Kingdom was SOOOO GOOD. So good to the point I'm getting a tattoo "No Mourners No Funerals" on my wrist. I am sooo attached to all of the main characters I got a little depressed the week after I finished the books cause I don't get to see them again. Mom just told me to get over it and re-read the book well SHE OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T UNDERSTAND.

Also it's a good thing when the two main interests don't like each other at first otherwise it would a a love at first sight thing like "Oh I saw u I luv u marry me" that would've been more worse 😝 Plus there's couples that have better relationships like tris & Tobias, booth & Brennan, the rebel & princess from breakfast club

In the cliches u explained I agree with u on the love triangle thing cuz it's something I see OVER & OVER & OVER & that can be pretty exhausting 😩 it's one of the reasons I like the divergent series it has no love triangle whatsoever 😁 However I may disagree on the whole personality on the main guy character thing cuz it's usually one of those things that a female is attracted to plus not all of those guys are brooding 24/7 cuz sometimes they can be a gentlemen under all that rough exterior cuz it's a guy thing that they're tough on the outside but really sweet & kind on the inside & like I said it's a guy thing 😂 in both reality & fiction
