Oh wow, how interesting do the first two sound. I watch lots of geology based stuff around the PNW and one of the chaps they talk to a lot is a native A I, with the old stories of the names of different areas, and how they came about, from the NAI perspective and culture. Loving Fleas descriptions in general. Awesomely simple but intriguing. Is that Prince in the background?

Can’t wait till I’m better enough as a person to read lmao… maybe just audio books for now

Audiobooks is reading too, mate! I should know, I’m a librarian 😊
@Pluralofvinylisvinyls7 ай бұрын
@@ladygeek6926audiobooks is not reading. Not even in the same ballpark. If you can’t focus enough to read a book, you’re reading the wrong books. There’s trillions of them, find one you can’t put down. Save the audio”books” for road-trips.

Reading is incredibly difficult for me. Half way through a page I begin to realize that I’m not paying attention to what my eyes are reading. Continuing down the page would be fruitless so I’m forced to begin again from the top. I’ve kinda given up on the whole thing. It’s a real shame.

Have you ever tried a graphic novel? The pictures allow you to let your mind wander, but it will be on the characters or the scenes of the story. I hope you try it out.

You’re reading books you’re not interested in. Keep trying.

Hey man, I recognise that. For years I felt shamed for not reading as fast as some of my friends. But now I know I read pages thrice as slow, because I really want to know everything (the psychological side of the characters) "behind" the book. I agree! Just keep trying out flavours within the genres 'till you find your sweet tooth. And perhaps writing's more your thing. Could also be you're more of an output person stead of input.

Flea is a sad but very fortunate person. I’m a Red Head but I Love 🇺🇸 I couldn’t make it threw that liberal dementia. I’m not self-deceived but am learned on “Not Stolen” America. That’s a book you should read. Or if you want to know about “Native American Culture” then read Empire of “The Summer Moon” incredible book! Then if you wanna know about America and yourself then read Booker T Washington’s “Up From Slavery”

America certainly has its great things but it’s by no means a perfect country. Lots of fucked up stuff in America. Do you support trump?

“wars,” not, “mores.” Dude, your captions *suck*
@nem07636 ай бұрын
The captions are bad sometimes, but if you're referring to 4:36, Flea does indeed say "mores" there. As in, "social norms that are widely observed within a particular society or culture."
