I got a great bougainvillea in a pot last year from an elderly man who couldn't take care of it anymore. We live in Canada, my plant has been doing well and has bloomed now twice during the year I've had it. We live in Canada where it is cold but it has been doing well inside, I am bringing it out after May 24 weekend!

My beautiful bougainvillea sat outside in our hot Baltimore summer - much sun, but not all day. It never bloomed. Only 3 maybe at the end of September. I want to repot it - but I will prune it back a bit now, will add some fertilizer and hopefully it will bloom in doors over the winter. Thanks for your tips.

They all make your balcony look 10x attractive. I recently kinda have developed a love for Bougainvillea. So started with two new plants from Nursery today. I've a few questions for you, would be very helpful if you answer: 1) Adding kitchen waste like veggies, banana peel, coffee grounds, other fruits peels. Won't it induce rotting or fungus to the roots of the plant? 2) Can I add a spoonful of urea once a month instead of other compost or any other fertilizer? 3) How about the composition: 10% gravels, 20% cow dung, 70% garden soil for potting new plants in a bigger pot? 4) How should I (or should I even) prune it to make a creeper out of it? Thanks in Advance!

I love everything about your vlogs and thank you so very much for your training, tips, and tools! My bougainvillea suffers outside yet sends its flowers to the sun and light of the window to attempt to attract bees. The inside temps range from 70-80 degrees. And by noon my room is well lit and horrid heat is beating at my door. It’s vines are full and about 8 feet long. I want to trim it down and wish it liked heat more. Would it be in shock if I trimmed it to its base for a move to a new home?? I’d be shocked ! I talk to my plants lovingly and they definitely respond
