@@danielcarreira654 I concur. It's a sad time we're living in bc of the backlash from those offended by ANYthing being said
@danielcarreira6544 жыл бұрын
mrbigg151 I think once someone said that the problem is not by whom tell the joke, but by who interpret it. Because a joke is just that. A joke. For example, I make a joke about a disabled person, in a wheelchair, you can get 3 reactions by this, either people perfectly healthy gets offended, even though it’s not about them. And then, people in the wheelchair, half can actually find it funny, because they hate people feeling “sorry” for them, and the other half might feel offended. However, if it’s delivered nicely, you can make a joke about it, and touch in a matter important for inclusivity. It’s like, if you say someone is fat, you are offending that person, but if you say someone is skinny is it suppose to be a compliment? Double standards, it’s always by who interpret the joke.

The use of the word 'offended' in some way puts the fault on the person hearing the 'joke' and not on the 'comedian' telling it. The point is that these 'jokes' are appalling and disgusting. I went to see a play in Lima. The play was called "Oh my God" and I saw a person leaving the place as I was trying not to hear the jokes because my belly ached I couldnt stop laughing... The actors were making fun of the Bible's nonsense. I really loved it.

The mast class rug pull, a long winded boomer joke, a beautiful slow burn, a classic switcheroo, and an amazing sandbag! I must say, nice assortment.

Good things come to those who wait. In Africa the mosquitoes are known to carry malaria, which is a dangerous disease. But the turn around is that he is trying to protect the mosquitoes from dying from AIDS which is also well spread in Africa, that only transfers through blood or bodily fluids. So he’s implying that the malaria-infected mosquitoes are worth more than AIDS-inflicted africans. See you in 3 years

@MrGpt2010 taking offense is subjective anyways, as in some countries its ok to brutalize your spouse for not listening but in most western countries its horrifying. that's the beauty of comedy, you get to subvert it for fun.
