I am a huge chomper main. The chomper is my favourite class in Garden Warfare 1 and Garden Warfare 2. And my favourite Chomper is without a doubt Count Chompula. Seriously I have had such a good time with him and his regenerating ability by eating zombies and hes so much fun. My least favourite Chomper is the Hot rod chomper. I cannot play him at all. I ust feel like 125 health isnt enough for a Chomper but I have seen plenty of great Hot Rod chomper players in the past. Just because I cant play him doesnt mean hes a bad character. Also honorable mention is the armor chomper. The slowest of all the hompers but hes still really fun because of his added bulk and damage.

Hot Rod is my favorite as well. Love the speed, the paint job, and the sound effects. I have the unicorn chomper but I actually dislike the warp since you remain on the surface instead of hiding underground. and that's its unique feature. Chomper is also my least favorite class but I still like it unlike some other class based shooters; they're still fun to play. So my top 5 Chompers would be: Chomp Thing, Toxic, Power, Count Chompula, and Hot Rod.

My favorite is hot rod chomper as well. It's very good especially in the Gnome battle. One of key upgrade is very fast digging speed. You can use to run away or approaching enemy very quickly . Combined with 2 speed upgrade, It could be very challenging to press the eat button with that turbo speed. But if you master it, the zombie won't have time to react/jump...dinner served.

Hotrod chomper was my favorite in GW1 as well as in GW2. When I play him in gnome bomb I like going behind enemy lines and wiping out newly spawned zombies one by one. Gives them the gitters.

i loved pvz and pvz gw 1. i played pvz gw1 on my ps3 when i was younger and i hated the chopper then cuase its lack of range( i only had base chomper and cheesy chomper then) and loved some of the other classes like peashooter and sun flower. with gw2 i main chomper now

Yay it's finally here! Also Zero do you think they will add a way to get Unicorn chomper in GW2 because I only ever reached rank 100 on GW1 and I can't get to max rank without the Unicorn Chomper. I had to restart from rank 1 on GW1 because I had to download it again on my Xbox one because I don't use my 360 now.

Uh, Zero? I think Chomp Thing's health is 125 health. You just have the health upgrade on it. (I might be wrong though, and I'm not trying to sound nit picky.) Also, Unicorn Chomper is just a reskin with a near-useless ability. Just my personal (unpopular?) opinion though.

I like yeti the most. 38 a body shot, inf ammo, gooping is pretty much killing someone, even when there’s multiple targets because by the time the goop runs out your enemies will be frozen and he has the usual 10 damage splash. The only downsides are maybe the loping shot because it’s hard to get used to, and the fire rate. But it’s pretty much the same as a peashooter, so maybe not. So yea that’s why I like yeti the most.

hmmmm... how about making a top 5 bosses? there are alot of bosses to chose from! there are the story mode bosses, garden ops and graveyard ops bosses, infinity time bosses, like king gnomus and the giant plants and zombies, boss hunt bosses, and trial of gnomus bosses. a list about bosses would be really fun to me, and there are alot of things you can do with it. you can make a top 5 best/favorite bosses, a top 5 hardest bosses, top 5 easiest bosses, top 5 least favorite bosses, top 5 coolest bosses, and the list goes on.

Why the armor Chomper is so good: If you upgrade the damage on the armor Chomper, it increases to 50, making it able to 2 bite a zombie scientist. Sometimes, if you are able to sneak up on a mech, you are able to kill it in a 1v1. If you give it another health upgrade, you increase the health to 235. Instead of a health upgrade, you can get a speed and a digestive upgrade though because it already has a lot of health. That is why the Armor Chomper is my favorite character in the entire game. 😀

jbrothers47 i know thhs is a late reply, but his artic belch is really just a gimmick that mever comes into play. The damage scaling is horrendous, and you need to be in point blank range to get that 35 dmg crit. In that range a chomp would be a much better option.

Count Chompula is pretty good...granted the extra health is minuscule. I don’t play a Chomper often, but when I do Count Chompula is my go to, at least until I unlock something more suitable for my playing style.

Ehh, no chemist or marine biologist would dare to go near an armour chomper and he can even nearly match a super brainz in a melee fight. He is prey to the zpg and swallowing is the worst thing in most situations. 2 chomps and a goop could kill all scientists. His upgrades do make him better. PS: Base chomper and other chompers with only melee modifications should receive a buff. Hot rod is frailer but not only faster but he also gets a speed boost from eating?! Two benefits gained for one disadvantage! Base chomper just got hosed. Maybe if base chomper eats he gets two spikeweeds as opposed to just one.

How to easily counter chompers as an All-Star: If a chomper burrows towards you then go to a wall (or place a shield if there is no wall) then imp punt into the wall right before the chomper gets under you. Placing a shield works better becxause the chomper won't see you imp punt

Bruh he is the worst his damage is too low and you usually do 10 damage as a splash damage the range doesn't make up for a slow rate of fire

Good tip for the chomper put a goop a zombie then walk into them and put down a spike weed at the there feet so then you can swallow them without having to go behind them
