I liked very much velvet ribbons and cristal balls for Christmas decoration 2023. They look cozy and warm and elegant

I don't do Christmas trees anymore, but we always had real ones. They smell so good. Cutting down a tree and throwing it out after Christmas makes me sad. You are so right about vintage ornaments trend. I listed my vintage glass ornaments of Facebook Marketplace a couple of weeks ago and had a huge response. They went to a good home where they will be enjoyed : ).

I agree with you about the tree, it's really sad 😢 And well done on selling the ornaments 🥰

Delightful to see you and Mars cuddle and play! Yay!!!! I love velvet...always have; always will. We used to do real trees, but after several mishaps, we have moved to artificial...very easy but sad that the smell of a real tree is now missing! :(

Oh yes, it's sad you can't get the scent. No matter how real the tree looks, the smell will always be missing. But you can always add natural garlands and wreaths ☺️

I never have a christmas tree, because I have a cat😂

We always had an artificial tree when I was a child. I never had a real one until recently. I've gone back to artificial now as our cat caused 'problems' with the real tree.

I also never had a real tree when I was a child, and wanted one so bad 😅 But then when I started buying my own trees, I figured artificial is better for the planet, so I kept the tradition ☺️ Also the mess

I've always had artificial trees. Better for the environment and I hate the idea of killing a tree just for decor. Plus I live where evergreens aren't local.

I am with you on this 100% 🙌 I hate the idea of killing a tree for decor so much, that I've never had a real one in my life. I've explored the idea of maybe getting one that's potted, but the chances of it surviving after the holidays are still low 😔
@wendyna945510 ай бұрын
I did read of a company that owns a tree farm where you can rent Christmas Trees in their pot for the season and after Christmas the company picks it back up and plants it back on their farm. Once the tree gets a certain height, it is retired in the forest. Hopefully that might be a trend for those that want live trees. But for me, I'll good with my articifical tree and a good scented candle@@HomeByMon. Happy Holidays.

Not to be disrespectful, but: How are these things a trend? 😄 Are these not typical Christmas decoration "trends", like, every year?
@HomeByMon10 ай бұрын
Yeah, maybe you are right 😅 But the past few years we're seeing more and more plastics, boho Christmas looks, white christmas trees etc. So I guess this year we're going back to basics 😅
@seldakaya041410 ай бұрын
@@HomeByMon, okay, fair point. 🙈 Never understood those new „trends“! 💖

Like it or not, there are different “trends” every few years or so…just check out the Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware catalogs for example. Some people like to change up their Christmas decor now and then. Others keep the same for years. The important thing is to do what makes you happy. 😊
