I think they gave you some wrong information, Addis Ababa, Gonder, Asmara, but Diredawa is one of the hottest city in Ethiopia for Somali State the hottest city is Diredawa, and the coldest is Jigjiga the capital city of Somali State, Hargeysa is normal, the coldest city in Somalia is called Erigavo city and its altitude is about 5000 feet above sea level,

The hottest is in afar, while I don't know the name of the coldest place, it's found in western Ethiopia. If u live there, u sometimes can't get tap water bc it changes into ice.

Dire dawa cold? Don't listen to this woman! Dire is hot 🔥 Dire dawa is it's own thing, not in the somali region. The fact that they didn't mention Debre Markos or Debre Birhan tell me that they didn't do enough research. These cities are COLD Addis Ababa is not that cold though.
