My takeaway? Don't get drunk, don't get mad, don't fall in love, don't look like you have money and don't be stupid. The first time I went to a place with bar girls / gogo dancers, I was stupid, and I fell in love. Fortunately, I had done my homework, I managed to keep my wits about me enough to tell her that I was out of money, and she vanished on me. After that first time, I was never that stupid again. I think every guy who has gone his whole life with no female attention will be completely unprepared for that first time. It's something you've got to experience and get through, and hopefully, nothing really bad happens to you.

I can't think of one place in the world that I've been where its a good idea to get blackout drunk and something bad doesn't happen to you. More often than not, you're ok in the US, UK and from what I've heard, France and Australia. I'd watch my drinks in Pattaya if it gets out of your sight, don't finish it. I don't trust strangers of any gender, ANYWHERE

You would be okay here in Canada. As long as you are not driving. If you're drunk out in the streets and cops approach you, they will most of the time look out for your well being. Ask you if there is somewhere for you to go sleep, advise you to call a taxi or if someone can come pick you up.

That’s nothing a British guy I knew in Cambodia went to prison for murder but he didn’t actually do it, the person died from an overdose. He still got 10 years though. It’s a long story but I could have been implicated too, fortunately I had enough judgement to not become involved

Telling me , "this is a gentlemans club" I said : "I am no gentleman" ( I am into architekt ; construction and buildings) But they managed to charge me for 5000 kr , equal to 450.- Euro for 52 seconds. Always leave your ATM-card in the safetybox, bring the cash you need for the night, never leave your drink when you have to go pi, somebody could drop some drug in your drink, and dont buy that shit when you hear handsome man, beacuse than you transform to a ATM-machine if you have not been around before in your life, dont walk around by yourself if you are a beginner, and try to go home alone to your hotel if something feels weird!
