If you base align and press using 3-4 odd crash strike vs wildcat to the TE side it shuts it down as well. Dont all out blitz just shade down and its good

For panthers QB blast- 3-4 bear cover 1 qb contain with base align shut it down every time and got fumbles on conservative. Wildcat I found success with big dime db blitz 2. Base align press, blitz all linebackers and the outside should spread out wide. Most importantly is to have good block shed and fast defensive ends. The outside defensive really shut it down before it gets started. My D-ends are Lawrence taylor(95 ovr) and Howie long(97 ovr)

How to change the defensive scheme in Madden 20? I'm using the Chargers that uses 4-3 defense but when I change the playbook and scheme to a 3-4 defense, for some reason when I play the game it is still a 4-3 defense.

chris gardiner honestly bro. You might wna back up your LBs from the like. Like that one who is on the edge because if they get sucked in it can be good night. That’s why certain run plays are great against 34 odd because the LBs alignment.

Edge blitz is good run D even tho I dnt use it but I always tell ppl certain run formations would destroy 34 odd mainly because of the alignment. Certain forms out of strong or iform will literally block up all the LBs.

I made a video on it. I do well with nickel normal cover 2. Put your outside CBs into outside quarters. Put your slot CB into a hard flat. Shade overtop or underneath (depends on corner route). The outside quarters play over the corner route. The slot CB is underneath it. There’s no window to throw.

The first tip is good IF they blindly throw an out route. But on both attempts, 1:29 & 1:50 Elliot (RB) is wide open, no defender within 10 yds. That's massive room for a running back like Zeke

R_IRACKS honestly bro. Just put like a decent speed LB in a spy and as soon as the QB start running clock the right stick in. Don’t wait until he gets to the outside or his gna pull your zones down. I’m rank like 35 in regs and all I play is damn chiefs and ravens users smh. The LBs gna cut him off. So literally as soon as they start running click it in. Let me know how it works for you.

How do you stop Corner routes. It’s the only route I consistently struggle to stop.

Most ppl have open corner routes because they pull that LBs or corner down most times it’s a cloud flat but if you something underneath then that quarter or cloud flat gna stay up and play the corner route

Eric you always talk about pursuit angles like you should be able to pick a certain play and it should completely stop everything. That's what would be unrealistic. Madden 20 is excellent. Get real.. pun intended

Madden 20 is far from excellent. The pursuit angles are trash. This is just a fact. Yes, if I KNOW what you are running, I should have no problem stopping it. But the AI dumbs out. Defenders don't stay true to their assignments far too often. These are known issues that even the game developers admit is a problem they are trying to fix.

No, I want a game in which if I KNOW exactly what you are going to do, I can set up my defense to stop that thing. Just like in the real NFL. If the defense knows exactly what you are going to do based on a tell that the offense gives, they shut it down unless somebody just blows their assignment. I get what you're saying, players still mess up in real life sometimes. The difference is, they have control over their mess up. In a video game, I have 0 control over the AI messing up. So if I tell them to do something a certain way, they should do it.

But, even when you do have the best players they still dumb out. That's the problem. Not to mention, even bad players can make the play in real life if they know exactly what is coming. Again, this is based on knowing 100% what your opponent is going to do. Bad players have a high chance of making a play if they know 100% what play is coming.
