Hello Pilates lovers,
I made a video a combination of Pilates and Physical therapy treatment to ease low back pain and both legs weakness, cramps with difficulty in sitting, standing and walking. These are 5 easy stretches Fix for your low back for Lumbar Stenosis ,a narrowing of your Lumbar Spine that causes irritation on your spinal nerves and spinal cord., a deep muscle stretching of your glutes, hamstrings, piriformis and paraspinals area and eventually will help you cope and ease any pain or discomfort,
If you are having pain on your low back across the area that radiates down one leg or both after prolonged sitting, driving, chronic back pain, sports injuries , that caused the stenosis of your lumbar area , there is a way to help strengthen your core muscles, low back area and to increase flexibility of your lower extremities that will help improving the mobility of your spine that will help eventually improve your quality of life. .Sometimes pain gets really bad that there is pain going down your both buttocks, hamstrings, legs and it is hard to stand, sit and walk and you ended up hunched over or at worse utilizing a walker to be functional. ,
This video is about a treatment plan to evaluate through assessment, nerve glide 5 simple stretching in supine (lying on your back).
I incorporated the Pilates based and Physical therapy exercises combination. I recommend to do these previous videos with these links as well to help stretch your spine as well if the piriformis stretching still causing sciatic nerve pain irritation as long as you only do the exercises on your back and lying on your side and if there is a transition on your stomach then stop.
