Filipinos are really fighter but in every one of this videos shows the other trait of us, ang pagiging maawain. After celebrating for Pia's winning ,right away they feel bad for Miss Columbia. So, Philippines wins the pageant after all, it's not rigged. Someone else wins, the pageant IS rigged. There is no logic in that, sorry. And in the first one the lady on the left is mocking Colombia's final answer. "What the hell? How? What was her answer?" Dissapointment I can understand, mocking other's I can't. And what about now, Catriona just won Miss Universe 2018, she was a machine I'll give you that, BUT she was also present in Miss Universe activities months ago.... Am I now allowed to say that Catrionas win was determined already months ago? So was the pageant rigged? The second clip is EVERYTHING! That awkward silence and then that excitement. And when that little kid cheered, he was like "HILOM BA" which is "shut up" but in Bisaya. Which makes it better since Pia is also a Bisaya. To top it all off, I especially love how he slays the pageant outfit and how she slammed those drums in their own house. They're breaking heteronormativity and I really admire that.

I still remember this moment. My sisters and I rooting for Pia. When Steve Harvey announced Colombia, we just look at each other in disbelief. Then when he apologised, we stand up and screaming our lungs out. When he announced Pia as Miss Universe, I just clapped my hand and nodded my head like a proud fan. I'm from Malaysia but I was rooting for her from the beginning! It kinda sad that she didn't get to take her 1st walk as Miss Universe.
