I just roll off the tone on the neck pup leave the bridge tone on 10 and switch pickups to get the appropriate noises. However, I won't need that for "Wonderful Tonight" which seems to be requested at most weddings...

Great video Andy! Looks like the pedal does what it says on the tin 🙂 I use my ToneCity Golden Plexi to get that woman tone but by rolling off the tone. BOOM! Its there! Having a chunck of OD definitely helps that woman tone not get lost in the mix

I like your channel, I've liked and commented in several of your videos because I enjoy your content, and even though I don't know you, you seem like a nice guy, which always helps. Having said that, and under risk of being booed out of here, this "woman tone" thing really needs to stop. It's 2023, it's pride month (Pride should be all year, but ok) and the concept of calling this sound "woman tone" should probably be changed to something less... misogynistic? Even the pedal is pretty objectifying in its design. And Clapton has proven he's not a very nice guy (understatement of the year). So yeah, that's my 2 cents. You got the engagement, I got to say what I wanted to say hopefully in a respectful way, now let's go for that change 🙂

All the reviews of this pedal have not been very good until now. This video has final got me interested in checking one out if I can find a dealer near me that has one. At the moment I'm using a Keeley 1962x, Lovepedal 200lbs of Gold and a Gary Hurst gold Tone Bender Mk1 not all at once of course. Listening to other videos of the Woman tone pedal it has always sounded too fuzzy and fizzy compared to Claptons tone. But in this video it actually sounds very good so it might be worth adding to the collection.
