Also Jolyon Palmer's amazing debut his race craft was superb there may not have been points but my god that battle with Bottas was the closest racing for a while and holding of the Toro Rosso's he was stellar.

There's a video circling KZbin from 2014, Palmer vs nasr in go2 at the hungaroring... Great thing about gp2 is the cars can battle each other, and Palmer and nasr made good use of that with an incredible battle

One thing that I fear many will overlook is Renault and Jolyon Palmer. The cars did solid, and I was very impressed with Palmer holding off the Torro Rosso's as long as he did, and then even fighting back by squeezing Verstappen on the outside of turn 3.

5.Podium interviews were actually interesting! 4.Haas scoring points 3.Alonso Crash and the tyre chaos that followed 2.The start, fists were pumped as Ferraris took the lead 1. Dre admitting on the Motorsport101 podcast that he predicted Rosberg to win the championship just to get attention ;)

That supersoft call was ridiculous. So much easier to keep drivers like Rosberg and Hamilton behind you at Albert Park than it is to pass them at the end of a race, no matter how worn their tires would be

I actually think the gravel trap did a good job in Alonso's crash. It may have flipped him over but it did take out a lot of speed before he hit the barrier. The gravel took off more speed than a tarmac run off would have.

Well, I think Haas coming to F1 has been good for the sport, I never use to watch F1 much until Haas came in and I think more Americans are going to start watching F1 as well. Also since has finished 6th at Australia and 5th at Bahrain was pretty dang cool!

8tenths in qualy.. Closer but not close enough. Lewis's pole lap was pure fire. Keep in mind with two compounds softer vettel barely got 4 seconds from rosberg. Also, even with 16 lap younger soft tyres, vettel; while closed the gap, didnt have an answer to lewis. What really caught my attention is how fast that TR is. My god, they have a solid chassis and aero on that car. If they had the 2016 PU that car would run ferrari very very close.

+Hayden 3210 Your cousins must like F1 more than a lot of other people to wake up at 5 o'clock (I did wake up at 5 o'clock aswell, pretty much a rule for the opening race of any season).

Connor Smith The next race is Bahrain. It's always a lucky draw what you get at tracks like that. They can produce thrillers like 2014 or they can produce snooze fests like 2009.

Vettel had no answer for Lewis in the battle for second even though he was on softer newer tires. I think merc is still the dominate car and that clearly showed in the end. But hopefully it will get closer. HAAS scoring points on first race out is huge. Really huge in today's time. Especially since McClaren didn't when they switched bad to the legendary partnership with Honda.

***** Your right also if Toro Rosso had the same 2016 PU they would be alot faster but the season is very young.

Yeah, unlucky for Raikkonen, again! But he had a problem since the beginning of the race. Turbo wasn't working right since the start and it got worse after RED FLAGS. Thumbs up for Kimi and Ferrari for Bahrain. Kimi has been great in Bahrain, so I believe podium for Kimi.
