Fall has arrived here in Mono County, California! I wanted to share my top 5 fall color destinations in the Eastern Sierra, sticking around the Mammoth Lakes area. These spots offer easy to access viewing of the fall foliage, or more intense hikes for the adventurous at heart! Come with me to Sage Hen Meadows, Convict Lake, Rock Creek Canyon, McGee Creek, and Rush Creek ~ with an honorable mention for Bishop Creek Canyon!

Hello! i'm planning to stop by Bishop, is it ok to see fall color?

Typically they peak the first week of October, but this season has been weird with all the snow they got! I was just up there and it was like 10-20%. So the peak will probably be later than normal! There’s also a Facebook group for the eastern sierra that gives daily updates. Have a great trip!!
