Me and a friend just 3 days ago played around a bit with the Venom and Jesko to see if there was any way to squeeze out more and from the Venom it was possible, but the Jesko was just stuck at max 311 mph... Now the weird thing was that right after we both felt we were done we took what we thought would be our last for the evening highway run in free roam and a random player showed up in a Venom and just started at the same time we did, but just when me and my friend were close to tied between his Jesko and my Venom that random guy kept gaining and passed us both in his/her Venom ~2-3 mph faster. So we decided to give it another go and the random guy did the same again... We were tied at 310-311 down that last stretch and we are being overtaken by someone who managed to push a Venom to ~312-314 mph... I've looked everywhere for a tune and pulled all my strings without success (ofc after friend request denied) so I'm putting this comment here in hope someone can at least say if they've managed to do that and maybe even a hint at what can pull those extra miles or even better if you know the tune because I want to drive it even if I don't get to know what makes it go that fast!!

they were using some third party program, Venom does not go that fast regardless of the tune

A few odd cars to mention for this would be, the Q1 Rossion, S1 Saleen, 74' Celica GT, and the 3 fast TVR's are capable of close to 300 if you have the time to nickel and dime every single point. The Ultima Evo Coupe is pretty amazing too, oh and I've had my 850 R Volvo wagon well around 274. It's difficult to check the top speed at times for obvious reasons, and it's not a priority of mine(I'm more into the 700-800 class races, and drifting weird stuff), but so far, with over 500 cars, I don't remember exact count, nothing beats the Jesko in any area! I'm positive it even has a jump buff, it's very noticeable when you get the extra boost on a jump....Now let's all pray for a Gemera :D btw, my fav car to go fast in, The old, tiny, Honda Civic 274 and a hell of a challenge to stay on the road! Fav handling car, the GM T50 without a doubt! fun video thanks man! /GIIT

I have a Speed Trap PB over 340 mph with my Jesko. Now, it'll hold 310 mph. But I prefer the handling of my daily driver Venom F5, which will hold 306 mph. Fair winds and following seas to all.

The downhill section should be disregarded. True top speed is maximum sustained velocity using the engine for propulsion on a completely flat surface. Adding the downhill bit creates

you can count top speed wherever you want but the list doesn't really change though

You said disregard the downhill bit. So, if you pick any other point on the highway where it's flat the list of cars won't change. There's a noticeable difference between the first 2 cars and less between the bottom 3 but the difference is still there and you would have to measure it with .xxx mph. And ofc I already mentioned you can get them faster if you get different runups, etc, whatever. This video wasn't TESTING THE CARS it was just a showcase of the cars that can do it.
