Yup GT has the highest max speed if excluded transmission while Viper will be at 2nd place if we did the same upgrade. But if it's about lap time, M3 will be number 1 while CGT(Carrera GT) will be ranked 2 cuz they have better acceleration when exiting corner

In the pause menu there is performance tuning option for that and you can customise - steering (slower or faster steering response), handling (less or more understeer/oversteer), brakes (more braking power to the rear or front), ride height (low or higher ride height), aerodynamics (less or more downforce), nitrous (less power longer duration or more power shorter duration) and turbo/supercharger (more torque at low or high RPMs)

How TF Turbo S has the best top speed when even with stock transmission you can't get more than 389 km/h? The Dodge Viper with stock transmission can get to 508 km/h while in NFS Carbon the Ford GT with manual transmission can reach to 522 kmh. Also to tell you that Porsche 911 Turbo S (996) is not in NFS Carbon (it is there in the files but not in the game officially without mods) and instead it is replaced with the (997) version that is no where near fast as the Ford GT (in terms of speed). And as this guy said the Carrera GT actually has the fastest acceleration while in NFS Carbon the Corvette Z06 has the best acceleration (especially the cop version).

Actually the Ford GT's top speed with stock transmission is 425 km/h and you are not the one who found it and in drag races you can exceed 425 km/h if you use NOS cheat because on drag race you can rev higher that will result blowing up the engine. Believe me or not Viper with stock transmission is way, way faster than the Ford GT. From all cars this is the only car who have super tall 6th gear that drops at 343 km/h at 4100 RPM and with junkman parts, some tunning it is possible to reach 508 km/h using the garage door glitch while on normal roads it is not possible. @@HYPNOTV Yes, because the Dodge Viper is the only car that has really long 6th gear stock and drops at 4100-4300 RPM. The top speed of the Viper stock can reach 343 km/h on 5th gear but when you shift on 6th gear the top speed drop because it doesn't have any power in 6th gear and basically for stock Viper the 6th gear was useless. But in NFS Carbon the stock top speed got nerfed drastically and the performance for stock and upgraded. Edit: I think you should update your video. And it is better to test the cars on drag race with infinite NOS.

Fun fact: The idea of NFS Undercover started after NFS UG2 but Black Box scrap that idea and later. When Black Box got split to work on NFS Pro Street and Skate 3 they came back for that idea but sadly this NFS is probably their most rushed NFS ever. So yeah that's why you see the similarities and the speedbreaker was in NFS Carbon too don't forget. And yeah still some sounds from NFS UG2 were used but there were also new sounds.

Junkman parts improve only the acceleration. The key to go over 400 km/h is to install stock transmission because it has longer final drive, just like the Viper. Installing ultimate/junkman transmission improves the acceleration but worsens the top speed.

The Carrera GT has THE best power-to-weight ratio... The best overall handling at maximum speeds too.

@@carlosmorris4510 I have done data analysis on it. In the drag races Carrera reached the 60 mph mark way before bmw or any other car in the game. I also used the first speed trap in razors first race to check which car reaches the max speed sooner. I don't know about the other games but in my version junkman tuning does not increase the top speed or handling. It only increases the acceleration rate.

@@dranzergigs8333 it's because the nitro totally disguises the car's acceleration, while all the cars had the nitro level 3 which is the nitro with the most boost in the whole game, the M3 GTR has a weak nitro level 1 or even less since the nitro the M3 GTR has less boost even than the level 1 nitro and duration, but now put a level 3 nitro on the M3 GTR so you can see how fast it gets to top speed, because I already did an acceleration test without nitro with the M3 GTR and Carrera GT all level 3 (no junkmen, obviously) and even the Carrera GT has superior acceleration, only with the practically mediocre difference, because at the end of a straight I made 357 with the Carrera GT while with the M3 GTR I made 353 on the same straight

Anyway I also want to share how I reach 425 kmh in ford gt without the unlimited n20 cheat. 1) unlock the burger king challenge and win the challenge>you can tune "Your Cars" to the junkman level 2) select your ford gt, upgrade all performance to the max level, but remove the transmission 3) manually install the junkman for all parts (except for transmission) 2) custom race>circuit>the longest circuit at college area>no traffic>1 opponent 3) performance tuning> full brake, lowest ride height, full n20, full supercharger 4) race in backward direction (optional) 5) good luck ;)

it's because the nitro totally disguises the car's acceleration, while all the cars had the nitro level 3 which is the nitro with the most boost in the whole game, the M3 GTR has a weak nitro level 1 or even less since the nitro the M3 GTR has less boost even than the level 1 nitro and duration, but now put a level 3 nitro on the M3 GTR so you can see how fast it gets to top speed, because I already did an acceleration test without nitro with the M3 GTR and Carrera GT all level 3 (no junkmen, obviously) and even the Carrera GT has superior acceleration, only with the practically mediocre difference, because at the end of a straight I made 357 with the Carrera GT while with the M3 GTR I made 353 on the same straight

This doesn't count because if you go on slope you can reach with any car that speed. Technically drag races are the best for that but it is hard to reach the top speed without cheats.
