This Olight Obulb is packed with features! The magnetic charge cable is so cool! I really appreciated Olight including the metal badge with the adhesive backing. Now I just need to figure out the best place to mount it. Subscribe to my channel or more upcoming videos!

Does the Olink have its own magnets built-in also or does it just provide a place for the magnetic obulb to stick? I'm wondering if I get this for my obulb could it also work for holding up my non-olight flashlight with a magnetic tailcap

Yes, the Olink does have it's own magnets. I would think it would work fine with other lights as long as they are flat. Thanks for watching!

What's the purpose of the red light?

Olight recommends using the flashing red for emergency situations, like if your car is broke down on the side of the road.

The red color is supposed to help maintain your natural night vision at lower lumen levels compared to white or warm light. If you look at a red light and then away from it into the darkness you will see better than if it was cool or warm light.

I use red when I’m around other people. You can still see but it doesn’t blind folks

The problem I have with the OLINK seems to be that the magnet is too strong and keeps pushing into the button of the olight.

Thanks for the feedback! The Olink is pretty powerful. I'm using the mounting plate on mine right now.

@@toolsfordarkness My solution right now is to simply stick 2 pieces of electrical tape on the olink to act as a buffer. That seems to be enough to stop it from pressing into the button.
