That’s what ymir wanted, someone who will replace her of her misery for 2 millennia, and she knew it’s non other than Eren. and she also knew the only person who can send eren there is mikasa, she loved him, so she had to be the one to kill him. that’s why in final season, part 3 at the end a grown up ymir’s illusion stares at mikasa whilst she was carrying Eren’s head

The number one imo definitely is the ending of season 2. It basically showed the entire origins of the titans, and back then, the manga was still in the beginning of the Marley arc, that's why we had no idea what the heck it meant. Another one is when there is stem coming out of Eren in season 1 after he hit his head trying to balance on the broken odm gear. A small detail that mostly gets unnoticed is Reiner most of the times referred to the cadets being warriors, while the others referred to the cadets being soldiers. Many main events of Aot flash in Eren's dream in the very first scene of Aot, some of them going as far as being in season 4. Isayama is a genius bruh.

Not sure if this was in the manga but during the 3d gear training, there was a time when Erin flipped over and hit his head on the ground. The blow knocked him unconscious and when we saw Erin again he was in the barracks with the other cadets and he had a bandage covering his forehead. For a brief moment the anime showed steam coming out of Erin's forehead showing us that his titan powers were healing his injury

What about the praying mantis flashback when Mikasa was a child and was still with her parents. The part where she saw a praying mantis holding a butterfly. Praying mantises are known to decapitate their prey and females are known to sometimes kill the male after mating. This could be a foreshadowing of the ending when Mikasa decapitated Eren whom she loves.

Actually, Eren technically never saw the future, he just saw the past. It's just the attack titan can send memories back to past attack titans. This means Eren saw a past memory, of his Father receiving a future memory, that Eren himself chose to send later on. Eren sends it to make sure Grisha kills the Reiss family. The attack titan can't actually look to the future, they can only see what future attack titans want them to see. Since Eren is the last Attack Titan, it's impossible for him to actually receive any future memories, unless it's through the past.

Therefore those powers were blocked off unless he touched a Royal Blooded Titan Shifter, Eren didn't do that until Zeke caught his head literally days before his death. Touching a Royal Blooded Eldian who isn't a shifter helped him see clearer past memories, like Rodd and Historia. Eren "saw the future" when he kissed Historia's hand, so it's clear he wasn't able to use the founding titan at that time, he saw clear memories from Grisha's point of view, including the night where Grisha stole the founding titan, and it allowed Eren to see the memories he sends to Grisha from the paths in Season 4. It's really not all that complicated. Eren's ability to send Grisha memories comes from the attack titan, so the founding titan was really only used to make sure events happened as they did, like Eren sending Dina after Carla, to speak to Armin and the others, showing Armin the outside world, living with Mikasa for 4 years, and the rumbling itself. Ymir was the one summoning the ancient titans, and Eren never really used the full power of the founding titan.

Yeah, I don’t know why everybody thinks he saw the future! He only can see the memories of his father and through his father memories he can see the memories he sent to him from the future. His father knows Eren will do something terrible because Eren only makes him see something, and we don’t know what he decided to show his father, and Grisha himself doesn’t know what, when and why, he begs Eren to show him more because he doesn’t know what he’s doing after killing the Reiss family! So Eren couldn’t see all of the rumbling and future in that precise moment! We can see that he has bits of memories of the past out of nowhere though so maybe he will “see” his future in bits, maybe sent by him when he makes contact with Ymir and goes through past-present-future paths, but NOT when he touched Historia!

I write this for fans who still haven't gotten over the ending of Shingeki no Kyojin For those who think Mikasa married someone - No, she never married anyone or had children. Mikasa offered 4 roses for Eren's grave which is the symbol of her LOVE and died with 1 rose in her hand! she died without a companion as shown in her death where she lies within white lilies which is a symbolism of purity. There is no ring in the manga, but the ring shown in the anime on her left hand finger ring is actually a purity ring. The purpose of the ring is to remind the wearer of their promise to remain pure. Another thing is that she never revealed the symbol of her eastern clan to anyone. One more thing, the person next to Mikasa in chapter 139 could actually be Armin. Armin has straightened hair like Jean. And the child is actually their (Armin and Annie) son. Or maybe the child is from Historia's orphanage, which she had adopted. Armin lived longer than Eren & Mikasa and He visited their graves regularly. (It also makes sense to me that it ends with the main trio, just like the final cover) Eren also told Armin that he doesn't want Mikasa to find another man. He wants her to think about him and no one else for the rest of her life. and when mikasa is about to pass away she is shown with eren's scarf, mikasa states that she can't forget eren when he asks her to throw the scarf away but she says she can't and apologizes to eren for choosing this. By this ending, the author showed us Eren X Mikasa EPITOME of PURE TRUE LOVE Sore! ❤️🖤 I'm not saying this, because it's just another interpretative story of Shingeki no Kyojin, after all they leave the ending open for everyone to interpret as they want. I also don't think it's bad that Mikasa got married, because that would mean that she overcame and left her difficulties aside, it also means a new beginning in her life where she did what Eren wanted, I know that Eren didn't actually want her stay with another man but he ended up accepting and letting her stay with someone or not because what mattered to Eren was happiness and freedom of choice for his friends and that she move on with her life, happy with someone else or not, Symbolizing a new beginning and overcoming and she didn't leave Eren aside or forget him because she always visited Eren's grave, Meaning that not only did she overcome and move forward, but she never forgot her first love, meaning that she can be reunited in heaven or hell with Eren, Armin, and the others, ending Attack on Titan with a beautiful, splendid ending. and beautiful which makes it, in my opinion, the best anime of all, leaving an important and beautiful meaning.

No way that’s Armin. He would have to be so old by that point. When Mikasa died there weren’t even skyscrapers yet. No way they industrialized and started building skyscrapers all in between within a couple years after Mikasa’s death

We allready know Marley was well ahead in technology than Paradis, and once some Marley traitors turned to Paradis, we saw a rapid development in technology. Its quite clearly noted that Paradis beeing stuck behind the walls is the major reason for their halt in technological achievments. So yes concidering this technology was pretty much allready out there, this isnt too far of a stretch

Eren did not see everything that was going to occur but only select memories that his future self deliberately sent back. Not only that, he never tried to find a different path, everything that happened was his choice and his choice only, he says as much on multiple occasions. Causing the rumbling was always Eren's goal and witnessing his future memories did not change that fact.
