How do you think, runescape phishers, gold farmers/sellers, and scammers are hardly ever punished? Or at the very least it takes a long time for Jagex to do anything. They ban so many people, and have so little Jmods especially those that work on appeals. One person simply won't read over a hundred appeals a day.

Had an account as a kid, got it to 97 when the cap was 123/121. I used to volunteer in the local computer shop / internet cafe type thing. Woman who ran it was lovely but on verge of going bankrupt as some kind of payment, when no one was in, I could use the computers free. Anyways this was the case one day, was on the computer. Some of the local lads come in (all of them I know really well), one logs into his RS account, one talks to me, and the woman asks if I can run to the whole sales to grab a tray of coke cans. Which I do and my mate takes over just collecting some flex for me. I get back, him and the other lad decided to start banter outside a bank, swore a couple of times at each other. I laughed took back over didn't think anything of it. Later that night perma banned. I appealed that, got rejected , that was probably 12 years ago, I contact them again recently when they relaunched the class RS. Told them the above, they friken still said no to lifting the ban. FML.
