tbh i think Verina is pretty future proof too.. given how fast she does her rotation and how much buff she give to the team and as well as the burst heals that she provides..

@@GambaAJ still they would need to make at least another one, if tower meant for us to build 3 teams ,even with new Shield 5* Unit, they need to make another one to kick Verina out of the meta , so they will have to release another sustain unit to retire her completely.. however given that she's actually free unit, i can say, any new player coming in, will ideally choose her over anyone else in the Beginner banner

​​@@GambaAJif kuro does add a shielder support then I think it should be designed similar to Zhong Li where it pretty much only concentrates on shielding (with some minor support buffs mixed in) but doesn't that job extremely, even insanely, well. That way there's no one top tier support who does everything like buffs, healing, shielding, etc. From my experience with Kuro thus far (by playing PGR since launch), i feel Kuro will keep most older characters at least relevent. In PGR most of the og and first generation characters have been powercrept but it took a couple years plus they added upgrades (leaps) to the older units so they're either still a great second option or are used differently than their og designs. Even then a character still had almost 2 years of being the best unit for its element. Also PGR heavily relies in building a team around each of its elements (fire, electricity, ice, dark and physical) so it's more restrictive than WuWa. So with WuWa not relying on a characters elemental affinity for it to work with other units then this may even further prolong a character lifespan. However the truth is that powercreep is par for the course with gachas so in the end every character will be 'replaced' by a similar but more powerful character at some point. Luckily both PGR and WuWa have a high skill ceiling so (good) players can make up for a unit being powercrept through knowledge (about how to maximize a units abilities) and player skill (unlike some other games where if the modifiers and buffs aren't high enough theres just no way to clear content that has insane HP sponges for enemies especially timed content)

If you got S6 Yuanwu i highly suggest him if you want a shielder, faster rotation than Jianxin,Taoqi and Taoqi that doesn't really provide much shield. -When doing Liberation at S4 he will give alot of shield for 10 sec + that his liberation gives 10 sec anti-interruption (funny enough he should be the defacto char. with Calcharo but people want maximize dps than consistency). -At S6 his R.Skill provides alot of DEF for 3 sec and the fact the CD is so fast you can constantly spam it. Cleared inferno rider hologram with lvl 60 Yunawu & Taoqi S6 lvl 60 with Jihnsi with food buff of course cause no dmg with other 2. And tips for the 2 boss, learn to run not constantly attacking etc and exist so learn it also.

Imo, Sanhua is on par with Yinlin and Zhezhi. In s6, she can buff Atk for 20%, she also have a solid outro (very easy to put in any team), decent damage, and lastly, her selling point, arguably the fastest concerto gain; making every team rotation smooth and her field time is so short it is pretty much ideal for a sub dps.

Before I got her S5 I would disagree with you, but she is broken after that, her rotations get really fast, probably faster than verina, maybe than the game, it take like 3 sec max, intro, skill, ult, heavy done

Jinhsi's playstyle is pretty much like a nuke subdps if she is with a coordinated attck character,, so each time wuwa releases a new coordinated attck character is a new way to play jinhsi.

Fairly simple, Utility over DPS. They can powercreep DPS but Utility will always stick, you can only increase the amount of utility on a unit.

i think from all the main dps'es jinhsi still remains unmatched even in future. even if people dont have shorekeeper and zhezhi they can run verina and yuanwu and still do an insane amount of damage with her. she just dosent need any work. when i did my first full tower clear, i used lvl 1 taoqi and lvl 1 yuanwu with her and both got replaced by zhezhi. and in future we might get a coordinated attacker which synergizes more with her than zhezhi. definetly for now zhezhi is my number one pick on a jinhsi team!

i agree about Changli, she is meant to be swapped in just to do massive damage in short period of time, get her buffs and swap to ur main fusion DPS, i cant wait until we get that DPS :D

in my opinion at sequence zero pretty much all the supports are future proof . and even then, with sequence six, which is not always likely with majority of the players characters get a huge boost in there overall performance, even characters like lingyang (which people lose their 50/50 often)damage almost quadruples sequence six and he does pretty good nuke damage for a character that was seen as the worst five star up until 1.1 at S0. and even then he never got a dedicated five star support (imo zhezhi is good but sanhua/ shorekeeper is faster given how fast sanhua build concerto with the four star weaps; meaning you can lingyang outro nuke after his burst WAAAAAY faster nor a weapon that actually helps his kit via basic attack damage and liberation with crit main stat
