I think other than being relatively 'new' to the high level PvM scene compared to the 5 in this video noobtype absolutely has GOAT potential.

Monty was simply sharing an opinion that the first person to finish all of the awakened bosses would have personally been placed on the top 5 list by them. Ohohok assumed that that first person to complete blood torva was a client abuser, to which I replied and corrected the information that it was synq that finished it first, and the 2nd place finisher was a cheater.

I love seeing how you still have Woox at #1, rightfully so. It's funny seeing a lot of these new gen egotistical pvmers who play on their rainbow road clients try to write Woox out of history and make slick jokes about him in their little friend groups. Woox was innovating and setting the standard for pvm when kids like Puggin were still crapping in their underoos. And let's not forget Woox won KoTS, he won DMM, he contributed heavily to CTC and he continuously solved newly released content before anyone else. Woox is not just someone who improvises on other players strategies, he creates the strategies and he's great at all aspects of the game.

I think its important to mark some other notable achievements from Woox too, pioneering solo chambers, no supply infernos soon after the first capes. I would also pick Rendi as an honourable mention, he has been stretching the game engine to its limits and is extremely good at long grindy pvm endurance challenges that require flawless execution and planning much like the others on this list

Woox also outsmarted Jagex in the first ever deadman mode tournament by figuring out he could unnote food at Phials and out eat the fog damage, instead of teleporting to the final location like everyone else. As a result he was the last person alive in the tournament. He is an absolute legend and deserves the #1 in my opinion.

Woox is fucking insane but holy shit port khazard is very close to the number 1 spot as well. Everyone on that list still blows my mind though. This is why OSRS is the best MMORPG out there. This level of skill isnt required for any other mmo in my opinion. Great video Saeder

Kelvino also doesn't get enough love for being the 2nd player to complete the inferno. the fastest players to adapt to the inferno really put a lot of big names on the radar back then, in a time where there wasn't as many ways to show their prowess. not making a case for some of these guys being top 5 all time, but cprl erik / lettulainen were sick for their time and bellis has always been a well rounded player, with all of them being the first 10 to get the cape. port also holding the #2 spot while being well rounded enough to hold his own in pking is also very cool

Nice list. Would have woox as first too, port khazard and then xzact. I was honorable enough to get in a tob at the release of tob with xzact. We all died and he soloed verzik with 20%. Back at the release this was unthinkable. Saw it first hand. He wasn't very well known back then as well. That guy is a beast! And he's very humble too. But port khazard and woox are/were on another level :)

@@JosephShapiroTech Talking to chat while doing things is a skill that comes with streaming for a long time, you'll find most big streamers who have been around a while can do it regardless of the content. Your brain just gets used to scanning a message quickly in however much downtime you have. It helps that solo tob doesn't have much changing from one run to the next. Soloing HMT consistently is still pretty impressive tho, not going to downplay that.

Before watching, mine would come down to players that either identify or create the mechanics and then there are some that just do some outrageous stuff that just should not be done. I think there's a video where Port Khazard killed zuk with only recoil damage. Woox because woox. Something about aaty or kirby, not sure which I would placed though. Same for the solo tob content, either chriskies or a cold one. I think a cold one above chriskies. Rastaman is a speed demon, I don't know how speed ranks vs other players mechanics though. Although, I saw one of his CG videos recently and I can't comprehend how calm and easy he was clicking whilst talking at the chat. xzact lowest inferno, carrying a hcim for so long without playing at 121 hp permanently and teleporting at the first sight of dmg. While the guy doesn't do what people like, the knowledge and ability to do the exploits from Rendi is just unreal. in no order, woox, khazard, rendi, xzact. I can't decide between Rastaman, aaty or a cold one. Gnomonkey is very public too mind, I think he's a very good clicker and teacher rather than what some of the others do though. Looking forward to hearing the video!! I forgot the guy who did 6 jads roleplaying wise old man manually casting sara strike.

Would be nice to see more inactive players on the honourable mentions list. Not a lot of players stood out in 2017-2019 times, but those who did were way ahead of the times. some that weren't mentioned: Tiprikidi: Easily the best solo cox player of 2017-2018. He didn't get a lot of recognition for a while because he could not compete in speedruns until he got his ironman twisted bow, but he held solo CM and solo record for a long time while also being a restricted ironman. Majority of the solo cox metas today were originally discovered by him. Vuleka: Always been a talented player, held numerous ToB records in 2019 in the duo and solo category. He also won the gauntlet chair competition. Overall a good player in other aspects of the game as well. Scuffed Jesu: First oblivion diary completionist. Some of the tasks were to complete a ToB solo, and to complete the inferno in under 55 minutes. Keep in mind, inferno wr was 53:03 by kelvino, and only 3 players had completed a ToB solo when these tasks were released. Shows that he was a top player in every aspect of end game PvM. De0: Known tob and cox speedrunner for larger teams. Very smart player who contributed to the evolution of speedrunning in tob/cox/inferno. A cold one: Solo tob stuff. I would replace scotty with jolanene. Number of attempts is the main reason why scotty is currently the record holder of inferno speeds, but nene is just way better imo

Rendi's best ability is theorycrafting and making use of really weird outside the box ideas and mechanics. I don't think he deserves top 5, but he's definitely noteworthy in all of the ranking aspects other than mechanical ability (not to say he's bad there either, but the competition is strong). Particularly "inspiration generated". The amount of stuff he's done, especially with his innovative use of stalls and weird forgotten items in PVM scenarios, is honestly amazing.

This is a solid list but I think noobtype already makes my top 5 despite not being known as long as these players. Out of the roster of "current best" players nobody stands out like him IMO. Wouldn't be surprised if people are calling him the GOAT in a few years assuming he doesn't get bored with the game and go do something else.
