its a rare case because yt'rs with high end pc's dont have much performance issues so when comparing maps on that spectrum is gonna be hard.

I personally consider American Road superior to Roane County. American Road offers more diversity of roads. But I would agree if you are looking only for a highway circuit the two the American road has are a little boring/easy.

Also, the Tennessee map is very accurate to real life! Last year I drove through Roane County through Kingston while on the way to Knoxville. Very cool landscape I totally recommend driving through there!

Yeah the first time i downloaded it I didn’t look at the title and i thought the landscape looked familiar to tennessee since i just came from a vacation there then i looked at the title and description and saw that it was made by someone who lives there, that’s why it’s so accurate.

The lag in the tunnel could be something to do with the chrominess on the car and your reflection settings and update rate, maybe there are invisible objects or it’s trying to reflect outside and inside the tunnel, I’ve had random performance drops due to high reflections, not quite that bad, but it’s noticeable.

It lags in tunnel because of spotlights with high res shadows.

@@jsd_beamng f11 [editor] > find "spot light" icons in the tunnel > select them > inspector > find "shadow resolution" and set it to lower level or turn "cast shadows" to off to make it much faster but samely much uglier. Although its my guess, i dont have this map, but i tried some play with spotlights before and they're trully fps heavy for this stage of engine development.

Roane Country is nice but when i played with it the ai would sometimes just flip a 180 or turn in a place that had no road other than that i love cruising on that map

yh i got a beginner gaming pc and the stats are in the description, it’s a little bottlenecked by the ram but it’s not too bad. I can almost even run assetto vr but i can only reach 40 fps on the lowest possible settings. Subscribe for more content!

What graphic settings do you have??

It changes from every now and then it just depends on what i’m doing, but what you need on at least for it to still look good and run good is dynamic reflections (with settings set on whatever suits best for you), lighting set to normal, anti aliasing on FXAA mode, shadow visibility set to partial, shader quality on low, motion blur on and set to whatever suits best, and check on bloom, ambient occlusion, light rays, and depth of field. Everything else’s could be set to lowest or whatever setting works best for you! Subscribe for more content!
