Great video, Graeme. A grail for me would be Emperor Palpatine. I resisted collecting Star Wars until that figure came out, and the pictures blew me away. Plus, Palpatine in one of my fav characters (and the actor played the part to perfection!). I don't think I could pick only five out of my collection, though. 🤣

great video. i'm very particular in purchasing legacy, older figures at this point due to the balance of price vs some risk that deterioration and shelf wear can still impact a figure that's in been storage and then something bad happening. you named some great figures to chase after and both krennic and grand moff tarkin are on my wishlist too. happy holidays and keep up the great content!

At a huge hot toys and statue store, I go to in a mall about 60 mins away and have had Ripley for years 😆 I want her so bad , but she's 800 bucks. Maybe one day they will do another one I hope

The Hoth Snowtrooper is definitely on my list too. Awesome figure. And, ESB is my favorite Star Wars movie. I currently have Hoth Luke, Han and Leia.

Are you getting Ripley from Present Toys? I’m not sure if you collect 3rd party figures but their Ripley is from the sequel movie (Aliens). Predator from the original movie is my grail. I passed it on it many years ago but I’m hoping Hot Toys revisits it with an improved 2.0 version.

For the most part I stick with hot toys, but I would consider the figure if she looks the part. I think I remember seeing her from present toys, but I honestly can't remember what she looked like. I'll have to go back and check that out.

Ah man, I remember when Ripley was in stock at sideshow, but back then I was high on the marvel hype so went with guardians 2 starlord instead, big mistake as Ripley has been my most desired figure to date! Maybe will hunt one down once tax return season rolls up haha

There honestly aren’t any grails out there that I need. Thank goodness lol. I did want to get 89 Batman…but that’s been solved. I would love to have the original DOFP Wolverine. I’m not gonna hunt him down but it would be cool to have. All the stuff I’m excited for hasn’t been released yet. And a lot of what I want just doesn’t exist. There are some pieces that are pretty easy to get now that I may go after, but for the most part I’m really happy with my collection. I recently got the WB100 Wonder Woman in and she's my first "grail." Is she a grail? I'm calling her a grail. I freaking love that figure. I was thinking hard about getting the 84 WW and then this was announced. It’s really just a bonus that she’s such a limited run.

And it's a MK VII...it's one of the best suits. Thanks! I had to go with Pop Collectibles and it took a looooong time for her to show up, but when she did DAMN.

The Snow Trooper is still high on my grail list but I'm like you, it's too expensive for just a trooper. I did recently pick up Hoth Leia, which also was a grail of mine. The current figure I'm in the hunt for at a decent price is Chewbacca. I really wanted the Han & Chewie set back in the collection so I settled on old man Han, which is actually a really good looking figure.
