hi...im allergic to both cats and dogs but i might be abled to get a hypoallergenic dog because im less allergic to them...when i was about 6/5 years old and my mom was getting her car oil changed and those people had a big cream colored dog and i would always play with him...but one day i started get itchy and stuff and we had to go home and ive been allergic ever since...i really want a dog....do alot of people grow of dog allergys?

I also recommend the Maltese and the Poodle (toy or normal) I have asthma and I have to have hypoallergenic dogs or I get a whole bunch of asthma. We have 1 Shitzu, 2 Maltese, and a 10 week old toy Poodle. I haven't had an allergy induced asthma attack since!!

+BuckyTasha Hi!! We're having the same problem with Albert at the moment. Dogs naturally oppose restraints, so stopping them from pulling can be really difficult. When the lead tightens and the collar presses against the neck, the dogs natural tendency is to pull harder. If you want to cheat you can opt for a halter style collar like a 'Gentle Lead' or a 'Halti' which fit round the muzzle of the dog, they soon realise that they need to walk next to you in order to walk in a straight line. My girlfriend has samoyed at our house. He is so adorable and cuteeee :) i love him too But Im having a super bad alergy of Samoyed Hair. Its sheeds a lot. Even the fur can be everywhere. 1. Samoyed shreeds a lot. I swear A LOT 2. Even only the fur that stick on my clothes, can make me cough for hours 3. Everytime i bring him inside our room, i will coughing untill my chest hurt Suggestion 1. Please make sure you check the samoyed fur, bringing them with you for 7-10days 2. If you alergic, then samoyed not fit you 3. Check which alergan that makes you alergic. Is it the fur? Saliva? Or dan?

Albert is still technically teething, that's why he likes to chew. He's 8 months, but many dogs will still be teething at two years old so this could be an explanation if your dog is still young.

You can put doggy peanut butter or gravy inside them and freeze them, and this keeps them occupied for hours trying to get everything out from inside and having a good chew at the same time!

+Michael Jubs Hi Michael! Chihuahuas come in both long and short haired varieties - so a short hair would be recommended. You are right in that Chihuahuas can be quite yappy, and are known to be a goo guard dog. They do shed - but because of their size they shed a lot less that most breeds. Chihuahuas shed all year long, but you will mostly find them shed more in spring and fall, with the spring being the heaviest shedding. These seasons are when their coat changes. Here are some tips on how to reduce shedding:Groom them during the shedding seasons, particularly in the spring. This may not really stop or minimize the shedding, but it does help you minimize the amount of fur you need clean up inside the house. It also prevents the fur from getting into unwanted places such as the kitchen or your clothes.Try using the Furminator, which is a special grooming tool that gathers dead hair and helps in reducing the shedding in your dog. It works for all breeds and coat types. They work effectively when you use them with special de-shedding shampoos that go along with the product, and are bound to lessen your worries on dog fur around the house.You can choose from a variety of grooming products, which include undercoat rakes, combs, slicker brushes, and pin brushes to groom your dog.Here are some tips in getting rid of dog fur from your furniture: try using vacuum to suck up the hair. Or you can use hair rollers with sticky tapes. There is also the expensive pet hair magnet if you really want to get rid of hair in your curtains.

Toy Poodle Height: up to 10 inches (25.4 cm)Weight: 6 - 9 pounds (3 - 4 kg)Life expectancy: 12-15 Years The Toy Poodle is a very intelligent and responsive dog, which makes it one of the easiest dogs to train. They are very lively, and require daily mental and physical exercise, as without this they can become highly strung and timid. The Toy Poodle likes to be with it’s humans most of the time, and need to be socialised with other dogs and humans well. They make very good watchdogs for their size. Their humans need to be 100% pack leader, as without proper rules and limits to what they are allowed to do, they can develop small dog syndrome, bark a lot, and show other negative traits. They are generally good with other dogs and pets, and can be good with older children who know how to display leadership skills. Poodles must be bathed regularly and clipped every six to eight weeks. Clean and check the ears frequently for wax or mites or infection and pull out hairs growing inside the ear canal. The teeth need regular scaling. Since the coat does not shed it needs to be clipped. Maltese Height: Males 8 - 10 inches (21 - 25 cm) Females 8 - 9 inches (20 - 23 cm)Weight: 6½ - 9 pounds (3 - 4 kg)Life expectancy: 15+ years The Maltese is a devoted, trusting and gentle dog, who has a very playful and spirited personality. It is important to show a Maltese who the pack leader is, or they are prone to showing signs of small dog syndrome. If he does, he will likely show some behaviour issues - he can be snappy with children and adults, show excessive barking etc. They are also prone to separation anxiety if over pampered, and if they are fed table scraps they can become picky eaters. Daily combing and brushing of the long coat is important but be gentle, as the coat is very soft. Clean the eyes daily to prevent staining, and clean the beard after meals for the same reason. Bathe or dry shampoo regularly, making sure the animal is thoroughly dry and warm afterward. Clean the ears, and pull out hair growing inside the ear canal. The Maltese sheds little to no hair and is good for allergy sufferers.

my mom is allergic not all her life just when we first came to america and i think she also got asthma my dad was first in america then me and my mom moved to the house now lived in the apartment for like 3 years now and my dad still needs enough money to buy a house so we can buy a hypoallergenic dog but a small one otherwise it will die of small space that is what my dad said but my mom can stay near dogs for 2-3 hours which is a relief i am a cat lover but i have a pug back in India my mom said that i wanted him at a shelter i was only 3 i do not have much memory of it my mom only told me so i don't want to throw my heart away of dogs why do i talk a lot about canines?? It might not be a great idea to get a dog if you won't be there a lot and your mom is allergic to them. Dogs can get very lonely if left alone for a long time, they can feel anxious and begin to urinate from stress and they can spend hours barking or howling, this can be a result of separation anxiety
