I smelled the most amazing fragrance in someone's car around 2002 and he said it was called Jaipur. I became obsessed with the smell and had to have a bottle. I have an EDP bottle from 2002 with a metal casing that frames the outer edges of the bottle probably 60% full. I don't know if it was EDT or EDP I smelled in that person's car, but bought the EDP because I was told you got more performance for the money. Even two sprays is almost too much with this one. I MAY have gotten one or two compliments on it over the years, but I love it.

Jaipur has quickly rose to one of my favorite fragrances of all time. It’s a 10/10 masterpiece to me. Everything I’ve wanted in a fragrance and I can’t stop going back to it.

I also have Bentley for men Intense. This one will always be in my top 10 list. this stuff is really strong and powerfull, beast mode here. More winter IMO. The only problem it's its versatility as I don't quite know when to wear it. This is also a very "serious" fragrance but I love it

Nice list! Jaipur Homme EDP is a great classic cool/cold weather fragrance. I'm on my 2nd bottle . . . love it around the Holidays. Great for nights out, as I get a little carnation peaking through which helps to set the mood for the evening . Thanks for sharing . . . cheers !

I found Boucheron for *cheap* at my local discount store and love it. Very high quality, I really like the cinnamon note. May seem powdery to some, but comes off more as 'dusty' to me.

I just picked up a bottle of Cordovan (Banana Republic, 2006) at Ross for $20. It's a woods and leather aromatic, perfect dry fragrance for the fall. I'm already loving it!

Excellent review, congratulations! I'm in doubt between Jaipur and Lalique pour homme, I don't know them. I have dsquared potion, created by Annick Menardo, and I also have Bentley intense. I’ve been decluttering my frag collection. As much as I would love to keep my Chanel AHSEE, I decided to let it go because I much prefer my Dareej by Rasasi. Something between these two were similar to my nose and skin. No regrets as I love Dareej over AHSEE.

Dareej is fantastic but if you love Dareej you will definitely fall in love with Tasmeem from Rasasi as well ! no joke this thing is soooo good ! I have both, they have similarities but Tasmeem is really geogous and prefer it. Dareej is stronger and is more of a winter perfume. I use Tasmeem in autumn and Dareej un winter ! You can even layer both...OMG!!!!

Always a hilarious start to all your vids😂 Any chance of doing a video on how you would describe certain smells. I mean like how you give the example of how Iris smelling like lipstick or your mother's old handbag smell, or how people describe Tonka bean is like a vanilla baby powder kinda smell. These kind of example just more so as a educational vid for some of use who struggle to figure out certain notes in a fragrance and how a description idea would help us to point out the notes just by thinking of everyday smells. Excellent video as always! I've been considering Obsession for men (and Lalique pour homme) but put off so far from fear that it'll be a bit too 'old man' smelling, what do you think will it give the ladies shivers...but not in a bad way :D? I could only find the women's to sniff and found that there was an off-putting animalic note, does the men's smell all that different?

Rasasi Daarej to feel sexy for date night & Bentley Intense to feel like masculine boss. Intense is also better longevity. Both are great & are affordable but smell expensive.

Obsession is one of my all time favourites. I have an older bottle with darker juice than what is available today and I'm afraid to use all of it up and have to replace it with a newer formulation. Can you comment on the performance comparison between the latest version and older (not vintage) versions? I get about 5 hours with mine.

Dace Dark With the new reformulation I get around an hour and a half of strong projection, which is surprising for a CK fragrance, and about 6-7 hours longevity.

I usually like these rich smelling fragrances over the fresh ones. However, I started disliking the Bentley since it smelled a bit too grown-up/old at the beginning, not in a bad way (im 27). But now it's really nice, I appreciate it a lot and I wear it in many occasions so give it some time. Maybe not everyone around me is equally pleased so if you are on the younger side just be aware of this. Regarding Obsession, I have a bottle which I cant use anymore...for a reason it smells like my grandpa, maybe he wore something with a lot of cinnamon... Great video

MrSmelly1977 Mr. Smelly, I gave the Police "Icon Intense" a go.... My very 1st thought upon initial spay was a less cloying Jessica Simpson "Fancy Nights". Seriously. It seemed to dry down in a softer direction of Carven Homme. The totality of the Icon Intense somewhat reminded me of Lalique's Hommage à l'homme Voyageur, but in a side by side, Voyageur is superior IMO as it's pleasantly sharper and more masculine w/ the patchouli being more forward in the drydown.

Bentley for Men Absolute is actually better than Gucci Pour Homme. Talking about Rasasi: I've had several Silver Mountain Water samples, but found it to be too feminine for my taste. Then I encountered Rasasi Al Wisam Day. It has all the good stuff Silver Mountain Water has, only amped up with rose and overall more masculine. I like it much more than SMW, even though I'm a Creed lover owning 6 different Creeds myself.

Obsession USED to be a powerhouse. I wore it on date nights back when it came out in 1986 and it was an all night affair that lasted well into the next morning, so to speak. It was called a cologne back then, but many men's fragrances were, even though they were on the level of edp or parfum strength. You didn't give the performance rating! I get maybe 2-3 hours and then it's a skin scent that lasts quite awhile. When it came out, you were a walking scent cloud of Obsession from morning to mid afternoon! I still like it, especailly on cold days, but coming from the hey day of powerful fragrances (both moi and the fragrance itself) , the performance is disappointing. The major problem I find with today's releases is that temperature changes seem to destroy the scent. Decades ago, you could wear a suit and overcoat, head from a heated house or apartment into freezing weather, and after an hour train ride, colleagues in the office (as well as one's self) could still smell the cologne for hours. That's often not the case today, probably due to that performance destroying oakmoss restrictiion.

As a word of warning, do not buy Lalique PH without sampling first. I did and found it revoltingly unwearable. It's so overly powdery. I'm in my forties but would easily pass for a 60-year old women if someone caught a sniff of me wearing it.

My mum's scent is youth dew if you like that then try Aramis J.H.L custom blended I had this Gaven to me and when I smelled it I thought of youth dew and it just happens Estee Lauder created it for her husband Joseph
