I am constantly amazed that Linux users are so worked up over the new versions becuase the color of the thumbnails/icons have changed, and there is a new background. Do you sit all day and play with the utilities on these distro's all day long? I don't give 2 hoots about the OS, as long as it runs the applications i want/need. As i am sure 99.9% of Buisnesses, Gamers, etc users are.

I recently switched from Fedora 41 to Linux Mint 22 and also upgraded to 22.1. I find the Cinnamon DE to have the right balance between ease of use and customizability for myself. Albeit that I also run an Arch instance, my main focus is to have an OS that is stable for my daily driver. Zorin sounds interesting. I might also give Pop OS! another shot. Their implementation and lag with GNOME did not impress me much so far.
