love the historic littleton area. Would love to live in that area. Went to the college close by too. Only issue is it looks quite run down in a lot of parts, especially around santa fe. a few years back I spoke with a gas station worker in the area and they stated that whole area along santa fe was considered blighted though. not sure what that meant but it seems there's been some renovations going on lately anyway.

I'm not sure what the gas attendant was referencing either, but I can share there are A LOT of developments going on along Santa Fe currently. Some as close as Santa Fe & 470, others further up as you pass Aspen Grove and get to Historic Downtown Littleton. Lots of residential updates have been made. There are some run down areas for sure, but revitalization is showing in many areas as well. Happy to help with any questions you may have!

Some good info here, but most of what you are referring to as Roxborough Park is actually Roxborough Village or simply Roxborough, which is adjacent to the sprawling new Sterling Ranch. Sterling Ranch is designated as Littleton, while Roxborough has its own postal city of Roxborough. Then there is the 1100 home gated community of Roxborough Park - the ONLY Roxborough Park -which is adjacent to the actual Roxborough State Park and cannot and should not be compared to those other communities. So, the pricing and types of homes available in the Park differ. There are several communities of very different pricing and lifestyles here in the Chatfield Basin and they aren't interchangeable.

All correct and thank you for sharing. For the purposes of the video I decided to explain things in a high level as the level of detail you provided would be a whole video unto its own. But I do very much appreciate you providing details of the area. Cheers!

@@LivinginDenverBillKnapp I understand but all you had to do was call it Roxborough. Done.

Ken Caryl is pronounced Ken ‘Carol’ not ‘Carl’ …the area is named after two brothers who are the sons of the original owner of the land in the area. Kent and Carroll Shaffer. It is unknown why the spelling changed when the area was named.

I love the Grant Ranch area - so much going on in that area. When I'm looking at moving, I'm not able to see another area that would save me money that has the same functionality as this neighborhood has. I can walk to a lot of resturants, movie theater, Clement Park....I would have a very difficult time leaving this area. Also, depending on your auto insurance, it's one of the lowest in the Denver Metro area, depending on your zip code. Grant Ranch is cut up into zones, I belong to Denver Un-Incorporated, so it can be confusing on what 'county' you are under. I get Jury summons for both Jefferson and Denver county.

Thanks for watching and commenting! The Grant Ranch area is definitely one of my favorites as well! Love Clement Park and the walk way around the water.

Did you forget about Ravenna?
@LivinginDenverBillKnapp Жыл бұрын
Oh I love Ravenna, one of the best luxury communities in the Metro area, and tucked away with a gated entrance. For this video I was basing my selections off Niche.com ratings since there are so many communities in/around Littleton. That and Ravenna's starting price point for a home is approx. $1.9M, which is beyond the majority of home buyers. I will certainly include this community in my Top Luxury Communities of Littleton though. Cheers!
