Ang dahilan maraming principal na hawak ng ating lokal manning agency lumipat sa india dahil sa panay hingi ng mataas na sahod ang pinoy; at mga tamad na sng mga bagong gradweyt sa bachelor. Pinagmalaki nila na bachelor na raw sila kaya mas gusto umupo at mag utos na lang. kaya hayun ang maintenance ng barko napabayaan. Sa kahihingi ng mataas na sahod at hindi na maka deploy dahil walang nag aaply, minabuti ng principal na lumipat sa india. Ang evergreen ay dating walang indian crew ngayon halos mga megaship sa kanila na. Mga feeder vessel ni ogel inilipat rin sa india. Sinabi lang sa mga crew na binenta na mga barko, pero sa totoo nagpalit ng crewmembers sa india. Iyan ang lihim ng pagkawala ng barko natin sa lokal agency

Sorry for the late response KeanneMata! Well, based on my experience as long as you are physically and mentally fit, you have a chance to enter the Academy. Also, prepare yourself for training. Jogging, push - up and situps beforehand will really help you get through your cadet days! :D

@@Christian-rv1bz at least 85 average bro. Pero much better if higher pa sa 85 kasi kasali din yan sa titignan kung nasa step kana ng interview. In short, excel for high and good grades rather than settling for less. Goodluck sa atin!

Hello sir! I can't say that I am 100% accurate but as far as I know, in PMMA, you will choose if you want to be a Merchant mariner, Navy or , coast guard beforehand. Choosing to be part of the AFP, you will be receiving allowance during cadetship according to your branch of service and you will be serving the country after graduation. Regarding the complete process I am not sure. Better take a deeper research, I hope i answered your question! Thanks!

I am from MAAP and yes, when you graduate from MAAP and chose to be part of the PCG or PN, you will have the rank of Ensign, and even as Reservist, you will have the same rank. I chose to become a merchant mariner, meaning I am working onboard international ships as an officer in one of the largest container shipping company in the world. Same with PMMA, they have similar programs.

Good day sir, apparently there are Marine Engineers who are also licensed Engineer in other fields. (Electrical or Mechanical) Need niyo po ata mag Marine Engineering Bridging Course. Hope this helps sir. :D

Both has the same purpose, so no need to compare them. Just take the exam on both academy. 😄
