I have a 1/144 hg barbatos lupus rex i hand painted it black and used mod podge gloss its cool

@@bobafett215x it's the lupus rex for sure, the shoulder armor is blue, the v fin is distinctly lupus rex, and four Arms and legs are elongated

Great Selection of paint schemes and finishes , because every one will most likely paint it in a traditional color scheme , I'm going to paint mine in a totally different color scheme, Grey or Black .

I'm waiting for mine to arrive so I'm researching how I'm going to paint mine. I've seen a lot of awesome custom paint jobs and many different ideas. I think I'm going with slight damage on the edges with minimal weathering.

I am just starting building Gundam, (last august just after my dad passed away, I need something to keep my hands and mind busy), and I fell in love of the barbatos, I am working on my first one and trying to give him a cool look. so far I paint the iner frame black and the cables red, the joint and articulation silver and the piston in silver and coper or gold. I don't know yet how I will be coping with the armor but your video give me plenty of ideas.

Well, there is an option to fit LEDs into the MG Barbatos. Check out @skellrr on instagram, he managed to fit them into the head and backpack, so it lights up the thruster in the back also.

In my opinion gold can and does not work for barbatos, weird to say but the gold suits all the pistons indeed but for barb I can't imagine it sporting gold, I'd imagine more brass or even silverish grey

Gundarium and nanolaminate are different steels

@@recemicode Nanolaminate steel is beam resistant though can be destroyed by physical attacks and is cheap, and Gundarium isn't, but is stronger against physical impact if not mistaken
